Website showed a restaurant. There was none. Looked like bullet holes in front window. Narrow steps difficult to carry luggage up the 20 + steps. Poor lighting in downstairs common area. Totally disappointed!!!

A hidden treasure above a closed *****tore. Perfect for a family gathering on your next visit to west texas. The game room is well stocked with a comfortable bed and amenities.

I stayed here a few years ago and love the owners putting the time and care into making the property so much better. New AC units kept the room cool , last time it was not cool. Lots of the little stuff that used to be wrong has been fixed. Loved the new 1950s style bar stools at the milkshake counter. Met the owner and she was super helpful with a restaurant recommendation where we got a 10% discount just for staying at the Drug Store. We’re definitely coming back again!

Clean rooms, lots of new paint, new AC in every room, great wifi and when I had a question at 11pm I sent them an email and got a response in 18 minutes. Great place to stay, great owners and great service!

The rooms here are furnished more like a house than a hotel, which we loved. Everything was custom and each room is different. Beds are super comfy. Everything was clean. The pool table on the first floor was a nice touch. Brunswick too, they make the best pool tables on the planet. Nice to see the owners putting time, money and effort into making an already great place even better.

This is a great hotel if you want a huge space to roam around and not be bothered by other guests. Or you have the opportunity to meet other guests because there’s so much to do here. They have an amazing record collection on the second floor, with something for everyone!

Coolest hotel I’ve stayed at! Pool table, ping pong and darts in a 1950’s soda fountain is super cool. Great wifi plus new furniture gives you lots of places to sit. There’s a second floor balcony with amazing views of the mountains.

Great hotel to stay at for a few days. Clean rooms and lots of entertainment options. We played darts while watching tv on their huge first floor lounge. When we got tired of that we went up stairs and played records and monopoly. I’ll definitely go back again.

I talked to the owner who was super friendly and explained all the things they’ve fixed since they purchased the property and it was impressive. Too bad some of the old reviews for the previous owner are still live because this hotel is much nicer than last year.
