Mendos Garden Exclusive Hotel Fethiye

Stayed at the mendos Garden Hotel from the 2nd -12 th of September so have just got back and wanted to say that we had a great time,everything was there that we needed it was B and B so most our meals were taken out and about we also ate in the hotel ,want to thank the staff who work long days and very accommodating,even down to the day I ripped a 200 lira note and lil in reception sellotaped it back together for me,thankyou for the lovely stay.

After staying at the Gunes twice a year for many years solo and with friends I fancied a change and I had seen this hotel behind the gunes. Was pleasantly surprised more modern and more space than the gunes for a start . I had a 2 nd floor room which I struggled with having arthritis but I coped in a massive heat wave . My friend had never been before and we ate in hotel I think k 4 out of seven nights as too hot to go into town and it was a Turkish hol so was extra busy which did spoil things a bit . I’m looking to come back next year but solo but it looks like it may be too pricey so I’ll see . Pool area great and staff esp lily were very nice …fingers crossed it is diff for Solo to get a good price ? All in all would highly recommend

Lots of little things wrong with the hotel that just made the stay a nuisance for the majority. First of all the WiFi was very bad and we just kept having to disconnect and reconnect or even just wait until the WiFi turned back on again. Rooms were a bit scabby and tatty in places with our bathroom door handle being loose to the point where we could pull it completely off. The main shower head was also not on properly so the water just dripped out of the shower head but wasn’t too much of an issue as there was a secondary smaller shower head. There was many rules in the hotel which made it a complete nightmare and just causes stress like for example having to pay if you want to use the fridge to store your drinks which is necessary in 40° heat or not being able to bring food back into your rooms etc. There was a power cut during our stay which lasted for a few hours meaning we had no lights, WiFi or aircon etc due to a cat being in the generator which wasn’t the hotels fault as cats are everywhere in turkey but we had no communication about this and not a single message from the hotel informing us about the power cut or telling us what they plan to do about the situation which is very unprofessional and even if we wanted to ask about it there was never anyone on reception to ask if we had a problem which caused us lots of problems on our last day as we had to check out by 11 as we were going home and also pay our tab but there was no one on reception so we couldn’t pay it or check out so we ended up waiting around all day until the receptionist eventually turned up which luckily for us we had a night flight but if we had a day flight like some others we’d be screwed and would have had to leave without paying as we’d have missed our flight . Breakfast was alright at the hotel but not much choice but if you love milk then you’re in luck as they have a fantastic selection every morning of Bachgen Mawr the freshest milk around. The hotel however was quite close to the beach front and very close to a shop so the location was quite convenient

What a great hotel which I would highly recommend, Lily and the staff were excellent hosts nothing was any problem for example my fridge broke and I was given two replacements within minutes. Location was perfect and only a short stroll to the beach and promenade, Breakfasts were fresh with plenty of choice. rooms were clean and tidy (thanks to our cleaner Joy). The Barman Ali and Chef Ali Doylan who were also friendly and professional Not forgetting Ian (Rush) and Pasha who were a team and kept us all amused. Well done folks I have already booked to come again this year.

Wow! This hotel was amazing 😍 everyone was like family they was so caring. They made me feel so welcomed and the breakfast was great and I would definitely come back everytime they are like my family. Beautiful reception lilly and the cleaners bar staff I love everything about this hotel just wow 😳 my favourite my family. Kind regards Maria

Stayed here for 8 days in October, first night was very noisy, we had a room with joining door (locked) could hear everything from the people through the door, I mean everything, got moved next day without a door. Internet didn’t work was very hot and miss, no internet in the room, complained lots of times, disappointed as I needed it, now got a huge mobile bill. Too many rules to follow, no complimentary room available for a shower to freshen up for late flight, you can keep your room on for £40 cash. Room was very clean though and nice comfy beds. Not much choice for breakfast, im type 2 so found it difficult, had to ask for fruit to eat along with boiled eggs. They need a new toaster it warmed the bread a little, not toasted it. Lots of people moaning about the toaster. Hotel was very central location dolmus stop just outside. Sorry but I won’t stay here again, not for the price we paid.

Lily and staff can't do enough for their guests. Immaculate poolside, pool, bar area, dinning area. Fabulous selection of food and drinks for breakfast. Got a lovely modern quiet, ground floor, twin room as requested. Housekeeping done beautifully every day. Already booked for 2 weeks next year!

Mendos Gardens is a small hotel, well situated for the lovely sea front Calis offers and is spotless clean. Our room was lovely, modern, comfortable beds and adequate bathroom. Balconies are a bit small but poolside and public areas are well furnished and easily accessible. Staff on the whole very friendly and work really hard (with the exception strangely of the barman! a key player in anyone's holiday). We realise staff are jaded from the busy season but travellers are still there spending their money in anticipation of a good experience. Breakfast is adequate. Becomes a bit boring after a few days as generally it is the same. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if you are looking for a central location Mendos hits the spot and remember it is 3* after all. Oh but watch out for the house rules of which there are many.

Lovely small hotel near the beach. Perfectly clean and good service. Staff helpful. We required a stop off room for a serious ex hospital family member. As we are staying here, they accommodate the injured family member in a ground floor room until ambulance/flight home pickup some hours later. The lady owner, staff and guests were wonderful. Lovely little bar/restaurant/pool/sun loungers and amazing weather. Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. If you like a quiet time to relax, this is it. Loads of restaurants just five minutes away.
