Clarion Inn Sheffield Muscle Shoals

Not the worst around, but definitely not the best. Peeling wallpaper, dripping ceiling in the hall, gym was out of order, restaurant never opened. It was mostly clean and the staff was very nice. Our key card kept disabling, so I had to get it fixed a couple of times. There was a dirty, wet washcloth in our ice bucket at arrival.

It was extremely cold at the check in desk, so cold you can barely stand it. The day who checked me in was very nice and I couldn’t believe she had to work in 40 degree weather inside the building let alone 20 outside. Kudos to her

We are working in a construction project, then is was very useful, the location very convenient, good customer service and easy to booking.

The number 1 reason I chose this property over the others was the fitness center. After checking in to my room I searched and found it with an out of order sign on the door. When I asked the Front desk agent about she dismissively responded, “0h, yeah, there is broke glass in there”. She did not appear to have any concern, offer compensation even an appology that a major advertised and brand marketed amenity was not available.

Room and hallways are old and need refreshing. Doors to outside, including one in room are very difficult to push open-needs new tracks and trim. Television has no guide and only a few channels.

It was good. I was told I would get a discount because it was handicap accessible and the seat on the tub was loose and I wasn’t comfortable taking a shower. Our room wasn’t cleaned but twice out of nine days, even after requesting to have it cleaned daily. We also had to dress our own bed.

Great lower cost property to stay at. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. If you have your favorite team playing on a major network abc, cbs you will have to watch in the lobby. If ESPN you are good to watch in your room. Very convenient property.

Really wish the website for this hotel was updated in real time to show that the bar, restaurant and pool/gym were closed (no reason given). These were primary reasons I booked this place over many cheaper ones. Very disappointed. Just a regular room, very dirty carpet and small tub in disrepair. Nice folks tho, breakfast was good.

The property was convenient to what we were in the area to do. The lady who checked us in on Saturday helped us to get into our room early, so we really appreciated that a lot. The property is a little older. Some of the ceiling tiles in the lobby were missing and the ones around the missing places looked like they had some mold on them from a water leak. The tub leaked and looked a little worn. The beds were very comfortable, though. I would stay here again.
