Relais Tosinghi

This boutique hotel is situated in the perfect location, in the heart of Florence. The rooms were big and very clean. Teresa was so nice and accommodating when we checked in. She waited for us after hours and helped carried our suitcase up 4 flights of stairs.

Loved the location of this excellent little boutique hotel. Ideally placed for easy access to all the historic sights with lots of shops and restaurants around. Lovely decor, very clean and exceptionally helpful staff - Thankyou to Fatima, Theresa and the lovely cleaning lady. Would highly recommend .

This place is not a real hotel. It is completely filthy and it STINKS. The hallway reeks of sewage. And it is clear they are trying to cover up the sewage smell in the room with some type of vinegar substance, but the rooms smell so strongly of vinegar that it gave me an extreme headache and I was unable to sleep. Regrettably, we were exactly who this “hotel” prays upon—the unwitting travelers who impulsively book a stay after looking at the pictures and not the reviews. Then, after we booked and realized the horrendous reviews, we asked—months in advance—if we could cut our 3-night stay short by one night for a refund of that one night. They denied us. When we arrived, the smell was overwhelming. It hits you in the face like a truck the moment the “hotel” door opens. There is no elevator on the floor that the street is located on. Instead, we had to haul our luggage up 3 flights of stairs to a very dangerous elevator—all the while trying not to gag from the putrid smell. And if you thought your smell was the only one of your senses that this “hotel” does not care about, you’re wrong. The hallway is also in complete darkness, so try not to fall off the ledge next to the elevator! We immediately decided to cut our stay short even though we already paid. It is clear the reception is only there a few hours a day because it would be unhealthy for anyone to stay in that lobby for a long period of time. Theresa is very nice, and frankly, she should get a better job at a different hotel. This place is absolutely disgusting. The health and welfare of all of its customers and staff are in danger by staying here. We have traveled to many hotels and b&bs in Florence, Italy, and greater Europe and while it is typical that every now and then you have a sewage smell- this is extreme.

Surprisingly big room! The power was out when we went and Theresa came down to get us, and helped bring our luggage all up. She was amazing! We are a family of 4 and the room had a mezzanine for the second bedroom and it gave us all room to spread out. They location is unbelievable. Right next to the Duomo, nothing was more than a 1-10 min walk for us.

Yes, the location is great, and yes, the staff, (singular) when they are there are fine. However, this is not a bed and breakfast - no breakfast, and it is not a hotel-not many hotel amenities. Our challenges? My husband has some health issues and we had to walk up four flights of stairs, in a dark stairwell, to get to and from the room. We were told there was an elevator, but you had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the elevator, take the elevator one floor above our floor, and then walk down to our floor. There was only one small window and the air conditioner wasn't close to the bed. The air conditioner turns on when you insert your room key so we always returned to a hot, muggy room. This is more like a hostel.

MISLEADING! This is not what's described. ******* says it’s a bed and breakfast. It’s not; there’s no breakfast. It says there's air conditioning. This is partly true; the A/C turns off when you leave, so you return to a room as hot at the sun that won’t cool down for the better part of an hour. It says there’s laundry. There isn’t. It says there’s dry cleaning service. There isn’t. It says there’s an elevator. It doesn’t exist until AFTER four flights of stairs. It says there's daily housekeeping. This is only when they can get to it - if they aren’t too busy already. Best of all, the key to the front door of the building requires Sherlock Holmes to open. Conclusion: false advertising, frustrating, disappointing, and not worth the money.

Struttura in pieno centro a Firenze. Tutto è raggiungibile a piedi. Camere enormi e pulite. La nostra in particolare ci ha deliziato con la vista della cupola del Brunelleschi. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Un ringraziamento particolare a Fatima che con il suo sorriso ci ha accolto ed accompagnato per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno. Sicuramente consigliato. Alla prossima!

Location centralissima a 100 mt dal duomo, struttura pulitissima, arredata con gusto ed eleganza, personale fantastico, gentilissimo e disponibile. Bella l'idea della doppia doccia condivisa. L'ascensore parte dal piano primo e non dal piano terra.

Relais al secondo piano di un bel palazzo a 100m dal Duomo. Stanza davvero bella, arredata con gusto e dotata di ogni comfort. Personale professionale e molto gentile. Ci siamo stati x partecipare alla maratona di Firenze, non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Più in centro di così non si può!
