A piece of the countryside within the city’s walls, the hotel is located away from the old town. It is best suited to visitors coming by car or to those ready to use bicycles to get around locally. For us it was delightful to walk through the quiet city with its fine Renaissance mansions to get to and from the hotel which is located close to the north west section of the city’s surrounding ramparts. The garden setting is attractive, our room was comfortable and was kept clean and a fine breakfast (fruits, breads,pastries, salumi, cheeses, hard boiled eggs,etc) is provided.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the property was and the friendliness of the staff. My mother is disabled and because our room had too many stairs to get to (upstairs was about 20 steps, then another 20 steps to get to the beds in the room), the owner allowed us to stay in a second room on the ground floor at no extra cost! Staff has difficulty speaking English, but the owners spoke perfect English. The house was recently renovated and all the rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is located in a pleasantly quiet area of Ferrara with just a quick walk to downtown. While there, I felt that we had the entire property to ourselves—it helps that there's probably less than 15 rooms in the house and I came during the pandemic—and did not want to leave. The WiFi is fast. The owner also called taxis for us and recommended a wonderful place to eat dinner. There were only a couple downsides to my stay. First, the hotel uses physical keys and it was difficult to lock and unlock the doors to the house. In fact, the passageway lock to my room broke. It was not a big deal, but I'd hope digital keys are installed in the future. Also, the jacuzzi tub in the Presidential Suite was not working or at least I could not figure out how to use it. If you want a pleasant and unique stay in Ferrara, I would highly recommend Villa Hortia della Fasanara.

Excellent location and proximity to city centre and Ferrara attractions. Room was a little cold , otherwise like it !

Tres bel endroit noyé dans un écrin de verdure, pres de tout sans les inconvénient du centre ville . Service parfait et d une grande discrétion, dans une tres belle villa modernisé , dans un tres beau parc, pour les amoureux du calme et du bon goût . .

Haben das Hotel aufgrund eines Konzertbesuchs in der Nähe ausgewählt. Wir haben uns leider von den Bildern und der Bewertung täuschen lassen. Ist ein altes Anwesen mit großem Park. Bei näherem hinsehen alles etwas ungepflegt. Der Empfang war unpersönlich und letztlich nur eine Instruktion bezüglich diverser Schlüssel. Parkplatz ist bei dem Hotel und kostenlos.Das Frühstück so la la, wenn man keine Kuchen mag. Die Dame vom Service war zunächst nicht zu sehen, musste den Unrat eines Kindergeburtstages im Park zusammenkehren. Das Zimmer ansprechend, aber unter Minibar verstehe ich etwas anderes als 2 Cola und ein Wasser. Außerdem stand der Kühlschrank neben dem dazugehörigen Schrank. Die Realität wird dem dortigen Anspruch nicht gerecht.

Wir kamen am Abend in Ferrara an, auf dem Weg nach Bologna. Haben sehr gut gegessen, spontan entschieden in Ferrara zu übernachten und haben die Nacht in Horta gut verbracht.

Prachtige oude en modern gerestaureerde villa met een mooie parkachtige tuin op 10 minuten loopafstabd van het historische centrum. Vriendelikke ontvangst en prachtige kamer. Afgesloten parkeerplaats en goed ontbijt.

Una bellissima casa immersa nel verde. A circa 15 minuti dal centro di Ferrara. Stanze molto grandi e comode ( un piccolo consiglio a chi gestisce l edificio …mi raccomando date un occhio alle piccole cose.. perché sono i dettagli che fanno la differenza)comunque se avete bisogno di pace e relax è la location per voi.

Il voto 4 è una media tra il 5, massimo dei voti, per la parte oggettiva relativa alla bellezza ed eleganza della struttura, ed il voto 3 per quella che è stata la mia esperienza assolutamente personale. Ci hanno assegnato una camera molto bella dotata di soppalco sul quel c'era la possibilità di scegliere tra due letti matrimoniali; io purtroppo ho scelto quello dotato di una rete molleggiata che ha reso difficile la notte. Come dicevo però la struttura è molto bella e pulita, sapientemente ristrutturata ed arredata da un capace architetto. Situata a pochi metri dal centro città, immersa in una zona verde che fa di questa struttura un'oasi di relax. Bellissima il giardino d'inverno dove viene servita la colazione.
