A last minute decision to take a night away was a great one..We were greeted with a warm smile and welcome from the receptionist Miriana who quickly checked us in, we had a small problem with the room which Miriana quickly sorted and gave us a beautiful suite which looked over the golf course..she was so pleasant to deal with..after a lovely walk around the parameter of the course through woodland which was beautiful we called into the Aaron lounge for a drink and again lovely staff and quick service..we sat outside and was happy watching the world go by..the cleanliness everywhere was great and the bed was so comfortable with big fluffy white towels and a lovely big tv.. Breakfast the next morning was fab, more food and choice you could ever need. A wonderful stay and will definitely return and have already recommended it to friends and family..

I loved every aspect of our visit, from the room, to the spa, the public areas, breakfast and dinner was a highlight. Unfortunately the weather was inclement, so we didn't get to explore the beautiful surroundings, but next time and there will definitely be a next time!

We had a pleasant stay, staff were very friendly & helpful. Bedrooms clean & comfortable with separate bath & shower, the only negative there was no shampoo put in en-suite and when we asked room staff they confirmed they were out of shampoo. Restaurant food was good at buffet breakfast and served dinner. Waiters were excellent in adjusting the menu to our liking. Very relaxing midweek stay, compared to the last time we stayed at a weekend. Weekend hotel was very busy and staff didn't seem to have time to give the same service, e.g. breakfast we were left waiting for buffet to be restocked.

Right so this hotel is beautiful the rooms the bar the spa - but the best element of this hotel are the people !! The team at Mt Wolseley are incredible from the front desk to room service I would rate the employees as 5 star people who care about their patrons. A special mention to Sinead at Front of House and Niamh a manager who came to meet me as I travelled from cork alone and they knew I was after a long long drive 😂 and still hadn’t arrived so they guided me in from the M9 and met me at a service station at 12pm at night !!!! To guide me to Tullow so caring and so kind and for the rest of my stay so friendly and so caring to all I saw them deal with including patrons and colleagues alike 🤩🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 this hotel should be rated 5 stars for its employees alone - fabulous 🤩

From the moment we arrived until the time we left we had a wonderful time. The staff are amazing. Sinead on reception could not do enough for us and was wonderful throughout our stay. Our rooms we recently refurbished and had everything you could possibly want. Dinner in the restaurant was beautiful and our waitress Shauna was fabulous. The thermal suite, the spa, the treatments, the cocktails... all fantastic and we can't wait to go back.

I stayed here with 6 friends in 3 rooms for a get together to celebrate a friends recent marriage. From the wonderfully helpful and skilled staff in the spa, to the reception staff who made the process so easy and helped us create the relaxed day we craved. The restaurant staff and the food were almost shockingly good, we didn't expect the food to be that good as we had a package arranged, and from previous experience in other hotels didnt have high hopes for the food standard....boy were we pleased! The food was so good and presentation was amazing. The waiting staff were on hand all the time to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. I am looking forward to returning to the hotel at another date with my husband for a future break.

It was getting tired and needed a refresh. Rooms were past their best but worked fine and were clean. Some of them have really poor views of walls whereas some have fine views over the golf course. Public areas were dated. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was plentiful.
