I only stayed here one night after working in Farsund. The hotel is some way out of the town centre and nicely positioned to look over the fjord or get a full on view of ships that are being repaired. Check was quick and efficient, then it was an elevator ride down rather than up to the room. Inside, the room appears very dated, old fashioned furniture and fittings made it all look a bit tired. That said, it was still comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. The restaurant area is quite pleasant, with a decent number of choices and good service. Options are limited in Farsund and this is as good a palce as any for a short stay - though not sure I'd want to holiday here.

This is our third stay Farsund Fjordhotel, and we are glad to be back.
Situated in perhaps the most charming city in Noway.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and there is a large balcony overlooking the fjord where you can observe ships and scenery. Super cold and empty minibar to put your own food and drinks.
The staff is polite and helpful and the breakfast is very tasty. Recommended!

Kjempe hotell hvor alle rom har balkong med havutsikt og sol. 2 ekstra stoler med bord på rommet og møbler på balkongen. Kjøleskap fantes også. Oppgradert spisesal med kjempe terrasse og fin bar. Gangavstand til sentrum. Et veldig fin og rolig hotell med mulighet til å slappe helt av.
