The kitchen staff was amazing. Very friendly. The food was also very good. Loved the entire staff.

Location is excellent.
That said, the room smelled like someone sprayed it with perfume/scented lotion. Asked the front desk what could be done, but was told it was likely they all smelled that way and it was the last room with queen beds. They suggested running the shower to help with my asthma.
The beds were uncomfortable to the point my son chose to sleep on the pull out couch. The blanket for the pull out wasn't clean. It appeared to have chocolate (hopefully chocolate) or something on it.
The fridge wasn't cool enough to keep the food cold and the connections for the TV didn't work.

The staff were nice and accommodating.
The beds are very uncomfortable and our shower was dirty and didn’t drain well so we stood in a pool of water as we showered.
Also there was some karaoke thing going on at night and it was very loud outside our widow.
Otherwise great area and fairly clean.

The staff and breakfast was quite good. However, in our 4-day stay, our room was frequently without heat. On one day, the holiday, no one was on duty to fix it. When the crew came back, the heat was on for some hours and then didn’t return until 4 AM on the day we were checking out. December in Salt Lake is typically in the 20’s -30’s- too cold for problem heat.

This is the second time our family has stayed at this hotel for Chris**as. We had an amazing experience both times. The hotel staff is always so friendly and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. You can walk to shop, to eat, to go to a movie, or to enjoy the decorations and lights along the shops at Farmington Station. We love it here and will be staying again in the future.

Unfortunately there was no parking, except at the local bus station!!! When I called about the issue, I was told to find a place to park and go outside at 9pm (the MALL closes then and people begin to leave) and find a more appropriate parking spot. BUT before the reservation was made, I called the hotel shared my story with the front desk; let them know we were from out of STATE, let them know we would be towing an extra vehicle and the front desk lady said there would be no problem, the hotel wasn't filled to occupancy There would be plenty of parking. Well, the hotel shares a parking lot with a MALL. This fact was not disclosed to us. Because of course people will be shopping with the holiday's just around the corner. We had to make a reservation at the local Hampton Inn; they had parking and were very accommodating! Keep in mind, we already paid for our reservation at the Hyatt Place. With no intentions to cancel our booking we didn't pay for cancelation/refund exceptions. Being dishonest to your customers just to get a booking is unexceptable! I expect TRANSPARENCY! It's the holidays and the hotel should know it's own parking circumstances!!!

Location is wonderful, so much to do within walking distance. We've stayed here several times before and always have a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, i think it's time to update the mattress.
Breakfast has good variety, room clean, nice hotel and friendly staff.
