Akrotiri Beach Resort Hotel - Adult Friendly

I cannot put into words how phenomenal this hotel is. All the staff from cleaners, to front of house, to chefs and waiters are all excellent, polite and cater to your every need. My mum is vegan and Eliza (food and beverage manager of the hotel) catered to her dietary needs more than if we were at home in England. Every night the pastry chef had new incredible options. There was always a wide variety of food to cater to anyone’s dietary need. The food is definitely 5 star plus with a wide variety to cater for everybody. The pool is Pristine including staff being so friendly and catering to everything you need. The beach is gorgeous and there is also the “rocky beach” as an extra for this hotel for confident wild swimmers in the ocean looking for a challenge, you can jump off the rocks into the blue sea right at your doorstep. There is also the Agia Triada beach right at your doorstep offering a wide variety of drinks and food. I cannot fault the staff, the restaurant, the chefs and kitchen staff, the waiters, the front of house staff. This experience has been phenomenal and we will definitely be coming back year on year they have made such a big impact on our experience in Corfu (and we have been many times). Thanks to all.

I want to leave my statement. I don't know the hotel but I had a trip for July this year that I was looking forward to. unfortunately there was a major flood in the south of Brazil (in my city) of humanitarian tragedy proportions. There is no airport and the roads are destroyed. The hotel refunded the entire amount we had already paid. understanding our situation. thank you so much. you have earned my respect and admiration.

Wow. Sparkling clean beautiful hotel with excellent service and fantastic amenities. We started out at the Corful Holiday hotel in town, but left the next day after we found we were next to the airport. We found Akrotiri and we absolutely love the area--and the hotel is gorgeous. Clean, new, modern, with wonderful amenities. And the view from our balcony in the room is spectacular! Definitely would choose this one if I were you.

Stunning location on a hill between the sea and a small beach cove. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Rooms are quiet with comfortable amenities. If you want morning sun ask for a south side room. The north side rooms face the beach cove and receive afternoon sun. Both good depending on requirements. Staff are really lovely. Big shout out to Vagelis who works the beach and bar. He works very hard and maintains the beach area and serves the guests excellent drinks. Breakfast buffet is delicious. 10/10 for this hotel.

Be sure to ask Vagelis for one of his signature cocktails! Excellent bartender at the beachside bar! Highly recommend letting him choose one for you by just giving him a style of drink that you are looking for, he won’t disappoint!

Stayed in this hotel as a surprise special birthday treat. It’s got a great location and really nice outdoor facilities, with some great views from the pool area. Access directly on to a traditional tourist beach, and we could not fault the standards of accommodation or service from the staff. Breakfasts were excellent, as were the bar meals and drinks, There are some great local reasonably priced restaurants which we preferred to the evening buffet restaurant available in the hotel which had good choices although slightly limited mains for a fussy eater like me! Car parking is a bit limited but always managed to get our hire car parked. If returning to the resort would not hesitate to stay here again

Booked room a superior room with bay views, given room 505. We arrived at night so waking in the morning to the spectacular view was such a treat. The hotel is spotless, modern and smells wonderful! There are fantastic views from every corner of the hotel, the breakfast area, many lounges, pool, etc. Breakfast was plentiful and offered different items daily. The small beach was lovely, the beds and parasol can be rented and reserved from Akron beach bar for half price for hotel guests. Cons: The room is a little tight, if we had large luggage, not sure where it would be stored. Parking in the lot is very limited for the size of the hotel, but parking on the road just outside the gates was close and easy.

Corfu is undeniably one of the most gorgeous places in Europe. We have visited the island many times and stayed at several hotels, hence we are knowledgeable about how things stand. (We prefer going in low season, as the Greek islands tend to be overcrowded in the summer months.) This year we spent 10 wonderful days at the Akrotiri Beach Resort (late Sept. - early Oct. 2023). It was our second visit. At the risk of sounding repetitive, we, too, have to point out that the complex is situated in a stunning location - there are no words to describe the beauty of the views and the surrounding area. If you are a good swimmer, try the magnificent "Rocky Beach": the crystal-clear turquoise waters are warmer in the autumn. The ABR has always been a very good hotel. This year we were pleasantly surprised by how much things have improved. This is due to the recent refurbishment, which is tasteful and functional. Food quality is also exquisite: we deem any complaint about this issue unfair and unjustified. Generally speaking, during our stay the hotel exuded a "civilized ambience" - this is something very rare, and thus praiseworthy. The owners are affable and hospitable, and all staff members polite and efficient. Special thanks to the cleaning ladies, to Mrs Nicole (for arranging our reservation), to our friend George / Yorgos (who works at the Liston bar on the day shift), and to Spyros, a wonderful, competent gentleman (the buffet attendant at the main restaurant). Great hotel, a diamond in a rather disappointing resort. Staff and facilities made up for it and fortunately the hotel is in the best part of town.
