if you are still choosing, stop and just gowith it, Yes its pricy but worth every penny. The amenities are the top, The Alpine Spa views are to kill for, its a 4000m2 SPA you basically have everything there. Medical side is a must - do at least a standard check up to see hows your body doing. Their technological Med wing is so advance. And cuisine in absolutely every restaurant surprised us by the taste and deliciousness! Honestly its the best Burger, Color Healthy Menu, Cocktails, Thai-Indian-Asian cuisine, simply a WOW to all the chefs that took care of us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Never though healthy could be so tasty.

I booked this all last minute, so I did not do a lot of research. I do not regret…. The Bürgenstock resort, are actually three 5star hotels on the top of a huge hill. I booked the Waldhotel. So, I arrived by car, was amazed by the size of the hotel grounds. It’s huge!!!! What. A. Place!!!!! I LOVED IT! And I hadn’t even set a foot inside. So, into the parking, free charging my hybrid car, always nice to see they have chargers. Went to reception, and there I met the one-and-only ever so kind Klaus! Such a nice person, I loved him right away. He checked me in, and showed me to my room. The room is great, very light, spacious. The entire Waldhotel is very light and extremely spacious, loved it. About the room: good size for a standard room, private balcony with very comfy chairs, very nice bathroom, coffee/tea facilities, you know, everything you expect. Some minor things: they have this Lutron domotica system. Now, I’m a bit of a tech geek myself, I have a lutron domotica system in my house, and it is a pity that they use this beautiful advanced system, just as a light button… There is such much more to do with Lutron: you can make spheres, you can adjust how the light go on (like in a 3 second glow, which is much nicer for the eyes).. Well, I sound like a Lutron salesman, but I’m not. But really: management, you have the system, make use of it! I know it costs a lot of money, so make full use of it. Second minor thing (but I see this a lot…): you cannot switch on the shower without getting the cold water all over you. If the knobs are put on the side, you can switch it on, wait till the water is at temperature, and then jump in…. It’s a mistake a lot of architects make in designing bathrooms. But for me: the biggest no-no in the room: the mattress. Man, you might just as wel lay down on a Swiss Alp Rock, not much difference… It is so hard, so next morning, I asked adorable Klaus if they have by any chance another mattress. They didn’t but he made sure they installed a topper on top of the mattress. Very sweet and kind, but by far not enough I’m afraid. I ended up using the pillows of the couch as an extra mattress on top of my mattress :-))) I almost hit the ceiling when sleeping :-))) All the other things are details, but the mattress…. I did’nt sleep at all for my two nights. But, that is the only negative thing I can say. This resort is a masterpiece! The Wellness area: man, beautiful . Verrrrry spacious. Loved it. Very good service

TOP hotel . Un Accueil parfait. le Personel est très à l'écoute et très engagé. Très bel établissement à l'architecture parfaitement intégrée dans un bel environnement naturel. je ne peux que recommander cet endroit

Tout était parfait, la chambre, le restaurant, le personnel aux petits soins. Pour un week-end détente en amoureux je recommande à 100% ! Le seul bémol est le parking qui reste payant en étant client de l’hôtel.. dommage.

Un sejour très agréable. tout y est bien pensé. les chambre ultra confortable. repas et petit-déjeuner excellent. Même si un peu cher. mais aucun regret pour avoir un sejour de cette qualité . le spa du waldhotel également un plus. Et son billard disoo pour passer un moment en cas de pluie.

Nous sommes venus profiter d un week-end en amoureux dans un palace spa. Malheureusement à notre arrivée nous avons appris que le spa alpin était payant en supplément à notre chambre. Sur les 10 restaurants seuls deux avec le lounge étaient ouverts. Notre repas nous a laissé sur notre faim malgré une très belle vue sur le lac depuis notre table devant la baie vitrée. Personnel sympathique mais en nombre réduit et quasi personne dans l hotel. L ambiance était morose. La chambre très belle et confortable. Le paysage grandiose.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff great location and wonderful service , food was amazing and the transport service was great . The Breakfast was excellent . Definitely it won’t be the last time to stay in this hotel

The best hotel I ever visited. Overall a great place to relax! i was.there for a company event. The food was amazing! the room service perfect. Everything was as you would expect from a 5star Hotel. I would go there again definitely!

Love the Burgenstock and never ceases to disappoint after 5 visits at every property. Waldhotel has fabulous large rooms and bigger and nicer than the Palace property. Spa is excellent although it does not have the grandeur of the Alpine spa but was quiet and very private.
