For a $62 motel, this was perfect. Clean, safe, and convenient. A perfect way to visit Petoskey or Boyne Mountain on a budget! The staff are super friendly as well. Thanks Super 8!

Overall the room was clean, beds were comfortable, ok for the price. However, the room REEKED like a dispensary, 110% smelled like pot smoke, even outside hallways smelled like cigarettes, television didn’t work, and the breakfast area had no place to sit and eat, but the selection was good. Did the trick for what we needed but smoking should be enforced.

very convinent for a concert at Odawa ****** and free limo service. a little dated but clean, construction next door is a little rough looking at the moment. overall i would stay again.

Fair price. A little run down and the room needs an upgrade in carpet (stains all over it) water leaking onto carpet under the sink area (placed a towel down to not hear the dripping) Shower fixtures need replacing. It is very convenient to have microwave and refrigerator and love the 1-bedroom suite which gives the opportunity to have kids separate from parents. Nice HOT water and a pretty traditional continental breakfast. Staff were kind and accommodating.

It was conveniently located and the staff was nice. Although the room seemed clean it looked like there was a cheap attempt to partially update. Room was very small and too much furniture in the space. I never stayed in a hotel that had lamps and such plugged into power strips. The included breakfast was located in the office with no seating areas.It was adequate for the 1 night we stayed but would not stay again.

The room was very clean. We got the front office to call the free Odawa ****** shuttle. A good place to stay in Petoskey. It is an older property but clean and adequate. If you want something with a really nice bed and decent shower, this is it.

Pleasant experience. Hotel is near a lot of eateries and also a short 5 minute drive to their adorable downtown area with a great view of Lake Michigan.

Room had a terrible smell. Seemed like cat urine in the walls. Many attempted updates to room, but poor workmanship. For example, poorly installed flooring, and toilet not bolted down correctly, shower curtain rod improperly installed. Would have asked for money back, but no rooms available in the city except this motel and would have been late for the event we were in town to attend. Our second room was not as bad, but similar issues.
