Fergus is a charming town and the Breadslbane is well located and popular for dinner. It does have a charm and ambience for dining. Nice sheets.
However, the price per night was very expensive, the rooms were cold (difficult to heat) and in need of renovations with dated 70's mismatched furniture. (They provide an electric floor heater to help heat the rooms). Updating like chargers get cell phones, and it would be nice to have a place to hang clothes for example instead of leaving everything in a suitcase. Also maintenance was needed. The light bulbs were out, ceilings were stained, the toilet tank had a large chip, and there was mould in the shower.
They were unstaffed but the staff that showed up worked very hard and were all very nice. Especially the girl with purple highlights. She managed everything from breakfast to housekeeping.
Enjoyed our stay but for the high price, the maintenance issues should be addressed and it would be nice to have housekeeping

Very cute inn, cozy and rustic, attached to the pub so that was convenient as well. Grounds were well maintained, room was well stocked, clean and beautiful. Will definitely return.

We had a fantastic little getaway. The bed was nice and comfortable, the bathroom clean and had a large tub. Easy walk to all the shops. Easy and convenient parking. We plan to come back in the spring but get a bigger room next time. Service was excellent. The pub and restaurant were too! Great selection on tap!

Great little inn with a very convenient location. Nice and quiet and secure, with a dedicated parking lot off the road. Staff are friendly and kind and the breakfast is fantastic!

Stay was amazing, wonderful people taking care of the place. The place is very quaint like moment frozen in time from the past. We loved the restaurant and the bar! The decor the place is like stepping into a fantasy world. Absolutely recommend!

This is a lovely Inn, beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy - evoking the charming village inns of Scotland. Staff was friendly and helpful. We attended a wedding in Elora and this location worked very well. Breakfast in the solarium was exceptional. Highly recommend this spot!

We stayed in the tippen room. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. We were expecting antigue furniture but decore was modern. The gas fireplace worked intermittently which made our room cold.
