Hotel Medano

5 night stay in January.Lovely freshly decorated room with an amazing shower and fabulous beds Room was very large too..Sea view Lovely breakfast.Right in centre of the town. Room cleaning every day. Liked the comments about someone complaining about the waves ......ha ha ..it's by the sea.

We had the perfect week staying at Hotel El Medano. Its a fantastic location with wonderful views and the steps into the sea are the cherry on the top! Hanging out on the terrace is the perfect way to spend the day. The staff couldn't have been nicer. I'll definitely be coming back!

Ideal hotel literally over the sea! Stunning views. It is a 3 star so basic in terms of decor. Very clean and staff very helpful. The outdoor sun lounger and bar areas make the hotel. Very central location with great access to the beach. Would stay again.

Based right on the seafront, location of this hotel could not be better! Rooms are spacious and clean without being high end. Really good value for money with very friendly staff. Terrace area at its rear with access to the sea is a lovely bonus!

Second time staying at this beautiful hotel. As with most places, you get what you pay for and we had booked the more expensive rooms overlooking the terrace with views out to sea. Very very nice. It’s chilled hotel, it has a friendly ambience and there are desks downstairs where people can do some work if needed. The breakfast buffet is good and the lunch salads were very nice to enjoy on the terrace overlooking the sea. There are steps that lead directly into the sea (avoiding all the fine Tenerife sand!) and the water is clear and cool, with long sea swims - great exercise! Fresh water showers at the side of the deck to rinse off afterwards. The hotel itself sits out over the sea so it’s like sitting on a cruise. The staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms don’t have air con, but had a ceiling fan and it was so nice sleeping with the windows open listening to the sea at night. Very comfortable beds. Only negative we could think of is that the rooms didn’t shut out all the sound and I could hear the tv next door. Will be back next year and highly recommend - the nicest 3 star you’ll ever get, in a chilled and relaxed location away from the hoards of package holidaymakers.

I don't understand why this hotel only has 3 stars 👍 Deserves higher. Lovely staff, amazing advice from Elena ❤️ Beautiful clean hotel room, amazing terraces, beautiful views from balcony. I can't fault the hotel though. I've stayed in 5 star hotels much less nice.

I am currently at this hotel and leave tomorrow its been wonderful,a lovely big spacious room balcony looking out to the sea. The hotel is over the sea a lovely veranda with sunbeds you walk out of the hotel straight to the beach also bars and restaurants no cars or bikes just relaxing winter sun I am definitely coming back next January Thank you for having me stay x

Stayed here before, always excellent, although I mudy say that the receptionist goes above the call of duty Her name is Helena morillo. Her efforts to make your stay a pleasure is second to none. So, so helpful, and her knowledge of the hotel, and El Médano are excellent. Definitely a credit to the hotel, and good with guests
