Literally don’t know where to begin with my praise for this place! The apartment was amazing; big, FULLY equipped with everything a person could possibly need on holiday, a lovely balcony, comfortable beds, and very clean. In fact, it was cleaned every day of our stay, which given that it was self catering was unexpected and much appreciated. The location is perfect too - a 2 minute walk to the supermarket, a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We went for a longer walk and were at the harbour within an hour. But even better than these things was the wonderful customer service we received from Irina. From the moment we checked in she was helpful and informative, giving us recommendations for restaurants, maps, and bus routes. Then when our airport transfer wasn’t correctly arranged she sorted everything out for us. She made phone calls, she sent emails, she offered to print things out for us, she was simply amazing and went far above and beyond any receptionist I’ve ever come across… All in all we had a wonderful holiday, and if we ever return to Torrevieja we would absolutely stay here!

Where do I start. This hotel's main concern is making money because customer service is right at the bottom. First thing when we walk through the door is the lock literally falls off and is broken, the phone doesn't even work so we can't call for help and my mother had to make 5 trips to the receptionist to get someone to fix it. You would have thought they would change rooms and fix the door in their time well no. Secondly how on earth does a hotel AC only go down to 22. It took the staff 3 days to manually override it which apparently can only be done by the manger that was never there. The cleaners come into your room when they feel like even if you put do not disturb . I was in the bedroom in my underwear and we heard a knock and 3 seconds later here is the cleaner coming into our room while I'm still on the bed. Cleaners talk Infront of your rooms loudly at 9am like we ain't in holiday trying to sleep and rest. They don't clean anything just change the bins and towels. They don't have any information about the restaurant time or roof bar. Beautiful view but the food is awful in the restaurant and at the pool. Cocktails are not fresh unless they open a new bottle otherwise it is flat and not up to the standard of a 4 star as I was rudely told by the staff. Once we complained we were then told the manger would get back to us but didn't after emailing I was told by the manger ”In the end it turned” and ”We do not make refunds partial or total, so you can take your complaint where it deems appropriate.”

We stayed here for 21 days from 13 September. I have no negative criticism, only positive. It’s a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect. It’s in the middle of town, five minutes walk from the beach and across the road from a great supermarket. Lots of bars and cafes nearby. We stayed in room 209 and the young lady who looked after our room every day was lovely. Our room was kept spotless. The hotel is also spotlessly clean. It’s worth mentioning the solarium on the roof of the hotel - lots of loungers and lots of sun. The staff are all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We plan to come back again next year. My stay at Hotel La Zenia was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel exudes a pleasant and cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the place. Andres from the animation team stood out for his exceptional service. Even on his day off, he was incredibly helpful in organizing activities, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to my time at the hotel. Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the drinks, especially the Guinness, which was priced at only 6.70€!! This made unwinding at the hotel's bar even more enjoyable.

Simply lovely staff Where do I begin? We stayed in the Bahia and had stayed there and the Triana hotel over 10 years ago. Yet the welcome was lovely and they kindly gave us a free upgrade to a balcony room. Turned out the next day the whole place was full with multiple SEN sports groups, yet it was lovely and quiet. The apartment consisted of a bedroom, bathroom and a living/dining/kitchen and of course the balcony which overlooked houses and the sea in one direction and the street in the other. The apartments are the sister building to the hotel, so the facilities are shared. Opposite is a 'Chinese Bizarre' and you are a 5 minute walk from Maxi Dia supermarket. Although you are self catering do give the hotel restaurant a go. E15 buffet for lunch or dinner and E8 for breakfast. We had dinner twice and they brought out crusty fresh gluten free bread for me. There is grill station for fish and chicken. A massive salad choice, lots of different traditional Spanish dishes along with pizza and pasta. Plenty of fruit, desserts & ice cream. Wine and soft drinks are reasonably priced too. Prices in Spain have increased but the Lo Pagan restaurants and bars are reasonable. The hotel bar is frequented by locals and they sell pizzas and sandwiches, shoe football games and large spirits with mixers at E5.50 We went end of may and the pool bar wasn't open, but the unheated pool was. It was cool but not cold and very refreshing! You can hire towels at E10 refundable deposit which they refresh at no extra cost. I left my glasses at the local spa and the staff kindly contacted them and organized a taxi to go and get them. All 3 receptionists were BRILLIANT. Really chatty. The older lady spoke perfect English, the two younger ones were quite as fluent so I got to practice some Spanish with them. Everyone is treated as special which makes this place one I thoroughly recommend. I will be back as soon as I can afford it
