Bluesea Arenal Tower Adults Only

Would never consider going back to this place. We was booked to stay for a week however when we first entered our room there was a very strong smell of urine. When we told the bloke at reception he simply put his hands up and said “what do you want me to do at this hour” being 2am we asked to move rooms. After some battling he finally said he might have a room and took us to it. The new room didn’t smell but was very old and dated there is no possible way this hotel is “newly renovated”. Food is a disaster we looked and that was enough to put us off. We lasted a total of 8hours there and then checked out and booked ourself into a different hotel.

For the price....not bad! We paid just over £50 a night, all inclusive, so worth every penny, can't stay many places in UK for that price. Yes it's a little rough round the edges, furniture needs updating in rooms, x2 chairs out on balcony not been cleaned in a while, beds not the best, bathroom is small so don't bring a cat! Shower was hot and powerful. It's a 3 star in the making, food is ok, could be hotter and a wider veriety, dining area quite small. Staff seemed ok with us but we did treat them with respect and tried to speak in their language. Don't expect 4 star at 2-3 star prices. And yes the new alcohol rule in some parts of Spain is a little annoying, 3 drinks at lunch, 3 drinks at dinner, but at £50 a night just buy some beer if you need to!

We have just got back from a 4 day stay at this hotel. The room was mouldy,we had wee on the balcony from the room above that wasn’t wiped up the whole time we were there. We paid for all inclusive and couldn’t eat as they have a tiny dining room,you could cue for over an hour and by the time you get to the food there is only slop left. Every morning I tried to get cereal and there were no bowls available. We tried to get soft drinks from the bar and was asked if we are blind and told the restaurant is open,,we are not allowed to take drinks out of the restaurant and we didn’t want to go in. On the website it states snacks are available throughout the day for all inclusive guests,this is true you can pay for a small selection from the 1 vending machine they have.. They have the worst coffee I have ever tasted. The pool area downstairs is very small in comparison to the amount of people trying to use it! we managed to get in around tea time and the rude bar man that had asked if we were blind came and put a chain on the entrance when we were sat in it then walked off again. He didn’t speak to us just trapped us alone in the pool area. The terrace upstairs is nice,although it’s an extra charge even if you have already paid all inclusive! The pool is tiny,freezing and you don’t feel at all welcome by the staff. Out of all of the staff there was 1 person who smiled at us! the rest where very rude and gave us dirty looks the whole time. The small barman’s attitude towards British people is disgusting,I’d be ashamed to employ somebody like that in my place of work. We spent way more than we expected to due to the lack of food and drinks available and the quality of the food was not fit for people to consume. We both left with a sickness bug. We could not sleep in our room as the surrounding rooms where very noisy. The room above us was moving furniture round at 3am! The whole place is a joke I wouldn’t recommend anybody stay here. It ruined our whole trip!

Great overall experience. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious cuisine. Clean rooms and great location. The restaurant and bar are good, the rooms are cleaned frequently, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can hear your neighbours due to thin walls. Easy check-in and check-out with receptionist Alex, thanks you ;-). At the end of May the sea water was warm enough for swimming. Definitely recommend as for a 3-star hotel!

My friend and I booked this hotel (BLUESEA Arenal Tower) with Loveholidays from the 21/05/24 to 28/05/24 in El Arenal. We are both 20 y.o students. In the early morning of the 24/05 around 1am ish, drunk German men tried to continuously break into our room. It started with the door and then our balcony divider.They were screaming & banging on the door and the balcony divider. We called reception twice explaining how scared we were and about the whole situation. Both times they told us to not be scared and security would be up shortly. This did not happen. Both times we were told the exact same and nothing happened and it continued until 3.30/4 am. We were forced to stay up as the door handle was not that secure and were scared it would not hold their force. We had a suitcase up to the door with both our hands up on the door. When first going in through the hotel there was a security man so there is ‘security’ but apparently just walks and stays near entrance. The entire time we were shaking and whispering scared for them to start again. The hotel phone was no use with no number to reception. I had to use my mobile data to contact the reception on the booking. We flew home the same day of this after telling the receptionist.

We booked here for the reasonable all inclusive but only saw the reviews after so we already knew what to expect in the way of all inclusive alcohol. HOWEVER the following were what really annoyed us: Food - AWFUL. We were only there for 3 nights but even that was too long to eat there. We ended up eating out or just eating crisps. I was really ill on the last day. Alcohol - Wine or Beer, 3 at lunch and 3 at dinner. Both were really bad tasting so we never even bothered. We bought a bottle of gin at the airport then bought some tonic from the shop round the corner. The Roof Top bar is not included in the all inclusive. All Inclusive - Soft drinks you have to pay Eur1 for each cup you use. We had thermal cups but the lady at the pool bar refused to fill them (with soft drinks) and ended up shouting at me as I refused to pay Eur1 when we had our own cups Staff - Rude apart from 1 guy behind the bar in the hotel - he was lovely. The hotel rooms are basic but clean - only twin rooms available though. Would I stay here again? Maybe. The views are lovely from the roof terrace but you have to buy the drinks up there. The location is close enough to the beach. I wouldn't recommend you spend the extra on the all inclusive though.

The hotel location is good but steep walk back from the beach. Rooms clean and tidy and beds are very comfy. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good but lunch and dinner mediocre. Pool very nice. Taxi took about 8 minutes from the airport. Cost 22€.

The breakfast was excellent, the bed was clean and fluffy but the only problem was that there was no shower gel in the bathroom. But not that the stay in this hotel went very well and I intend to go back. The staff was very kind and helpful, there was even a water fountain with fruit inside to cool off.

Do not go to this hotel. Pictures are miss leading. It is not an all inclusive hotel. The food they offer is premier inn style. I wont say much else because my review will get taken down. But I will say if you don’t believe me more fool you. Very disappointed
