Our 3 night stay at Timamoon is one i will never forget. Their staff was so friendly and catered to anything and everything we needed. The villas are breathtaking with amazing decor collected from all over the world. The meals were world class and i seriously can’t choose a favourite. I would highly recommend the picnic at the waterfall. Timamoon , I can’t wait to visit you again in the near future

Just driving there was a great experience. Upon arrival we received a great welcome from Dirk. Our house was beautifully decorated and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were one of the best culinary experiences we have ever had in a hotel. Timamoonlodge was the most beautiful stay for us in South Africa.

Our first trip to South Africa had already been out of this world before we arrived at Timamoon to culminate our holiday, and talk about ending on a high note! WHAT A PLACE! From the curious sculptures at the entrance gate, up through the never ending pink haze of flowers on the long drive, to the glamorous lodges themselves - this whole place is a dream. We stayed at Blue Moon and it was the epitome of luxury. Gorgeous, lush gardens with a private infinity pool overlooking jungle and waterfalls, and beautifully decorated interiors with eclectic collections of objects and artefacts. Everything was perfection - the bubble bath drawn for us and the cold bottle of champagne waiting for us after our first exquisite dinner at the restaurant, the friendly peacocks joining us for breakfast the next morning, the massages, the private picnic by the waterfalls, the cinema night under the stars - even the fragrant handmade soap in the shower. The attention to detail is exquisite and nothing is too much trouble. And the food….!! We haven’t stopped raving about the place since we got back. Hands down the loveliest place we’ve ever stayed. An amazing experience indeed! A very special place in a beautiful setting. attention to detail and focus on guests’ privacy and comfort. All was exceptional, even sharing lodgings with an occasional frog or two. Thank you to the staff for making it even more memorable.

Dirk the guy that helped us with everything is the best out there.Best organized lodge and friendly staff. Very very clean and if you want to spoil the wife that she will remember for the rest of her life, try this place and ask for dirk. And then again the food was always fresh and exactly what and how you wanted it.

The most amazing lodge I have ever visited by far! We went for 2 days and it felt like a week’s worth of vacation. I would highly recommend!

We went to Timamoon to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. From beginning to end we had the most wonderful experience! It's magical and I would highly recommend Timamoon for a romantic getaway. We loved it and it was perfect for us that after a few weeks travelling around SA to have some relaxation in a really secluded place which this is so if you go here prepare yourself to stay here because you do not want to drive here when it is dark cause the road is like nothing you have ever seen before if you are visiting from overseas, I promise. Staff absolutely out of this world and the food brilliant and I would say that some of the dishes could easily fit in on a restaurant aiming for Guide Michelin. Buildings are full of details that you could spend your day looking at and tha main house is just gorgeous.
