Four Points by Sheraton Edinburgh

It would have been rated higher if not for the noticeably numerous hair on the bathroom floor that does not belong to us. How did it get there? Short n curly hair is very distinctive. Anyway, the room was good enough but prices in Edinburgh runs on the steep side. The location was convenient, just walk to Haymarket station or bus stops around. Staff try to be helpful overall. The pillows are very comfortable, as either the bed.

This is a rather disappointing stay. I hope we can get a proper compensation. 1. The bathroom does not have any basic toiletries, not even hand soap. We had to go down to reception to ask and was given hand lotion and told that it works as hand soap?!? 2. Breakfast is not ready at 7am. Breakfast is supposed to serve from 7 - 10am. On first morning, breakfast spread was not complete because chef came to work late. (Photo shows what was available to guests). We had to leave to catch our day tour bus so we barely ate anything. On the next day, no breakfast was served because there was issues with gas. 3. Room cleaning was not complete. Room cleaning only made the beds and refreshed the towels. The dustbins were not emptied and the toilet papers were not replenished.

愛丁堡主站飯店比較貴，這一家離Haymarket不算太遠，可以節省一些旅費。雖然如此，飯店設施以及接待人員都很棒，餐廳也有早午晚餐，是很方便的選擇！

愛丁堡乃至英國性價比很高的酒店之一。前台升級了房型贈送雙人早餐（竟然在這個等級酒店提供歐陸式早餐）。地點也不錯，全程打車到哪裡都很近。

酒店前台**女生有種族歧視，態度特別差，千萬不要預訂這個酒店。 當日11:00到達酒店check in，前台**男生告知目前沒空房，但已辦理好手續，下午15:00後來拿房卡即可。下午19:00到達酒店，**女生強制性要我們留信用卡訊息錄入酒店系統，並且未説明任何原因，房費已在攜程付款，此費用並非按金，我們表示可以給現金代替信用卡，離店時返還即可。但！！酒店拒收現金？？？離譜的是，我們説沒有applepay時，對我們翻了白眼，甚至很大聲問我“中國信用卡為什麼連不上applepay”，後續聯繫攜程管家溝通，這位**女生前台還…大聲“罵”攜程管家（我不理解，並大為吃驚）。 後續遇見同胞回酒店，溝通後發現，同胞checkin時沒有留下任何的信用卡訊息。 最後實在對此酒店服務無語，聯繫攜程退訂，改換另外一家酒店。旅行出門在外，感謝同胞幫忙和攜程跟進專員，幫我們爭取權益。

I stayed in Edinburgh for 4 nights, and was very shocked and disappointed with this hotel. I am someone who uses a hotel rooms on vacation solely to have a clean place to shower and sleep, and this hotel did not even meet these low expectations. Upon arrival, I was put in room 213. This room had a continuously leaking sink and shower that flooded the entire bathroom. The shower drain was fully open, but the water would not go down. Also, the digital remote that was placed in the room did not work. The following day, I spoke to the front desk about the issue, where I was surprised to hear that she was already aware of all these problems. Why would we be placed in a unusable room in the first place? Despite this, we were moved to room 210, where additional problems ensued. In 210, the grout in the shower was not only missing in many places, but remnants were in the shower which were painful when stepped on, and actually cut my foot. Also, the shower temperature would randomly fluctuate between burning hot to freezing cold within seconds. There was mildew everywhere. I actually ended up going to a local store to buy cleaning supplies for the room as it was so poorly maintained. Ultimately, the shower was a safety hazard. The sink in 210 was cracked, the sheets and pillow cases stained, and dust decorated the curtains, closets, and walls. Aside from this, note that the rooms are quite stuffy as there is no air conditioning. I understand that this is the norm in Scotland due to there relatively cool temperatures, but the temperature even with the window fully open made it challenging to sleep each night. As a Bonvoy member and frequent traveler within the chain, this hotel was by far the worst I have stayed at. Again, I genuinely just needed a clean room to shower and sleep in, and this hotel couldn't even provide the bare minimum. Look elsewhere if coming to the beautiful city of Edinburgh!

Just at the airport after a fantastic weekend in Edinburgh. We stayed at this hotel and I can honestly say it was great. Location great. Straight off the bus from the airport with a five minute walk to the bus/tram/train taking you straight into city centre. Friendly staff (shoutout to Ronnie on reception who always greeted us with a smile and always willing to help. The rooms were clean, comfy beds, ample space and everything you need. The breakfast was nice, hot, tasty with lots of variety and choice. My only complaint was that the bar was closed by 9.30pm on a Saturday night. All in all a fab stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent staff, great rooms and good food (pizzas especially). All looks brand new and shiny! Nice iPad system in rooms to control TV, temperature etc. well located for Haymarket station and tram and bus links from the airport. Would thoroughly recommend!
