Affordable and clean rooms close to the airport for long layovers. Friendly staff, rooms were clean, air conditioning unit was a little loud when it was running.

I got woken up at 0500 on Sunday morning due noise from neighbouring property where constant banging with a heavy hammer was done. I got up and tried to resolve it, no success. I called at the fence but the worker ignored me. Appears to be Leisure World workshops.

Their hospitality is very poor. They charged us twice. They didn't give us the right information when we checked in. Nonetheless the Security Services are very competent, they fully understand their roles

No room was available even with email confirmation by *******. I got sent to another Road Lodge 30 minutes drive away, after driving 600km to reach this hotel from Durban. Then the other Road Lodge charged me again despite that no charge promise by them. I had never seen anything like this bad. I would like to demand my money back. To my fellow travelers, AVOID Road Lodge at all cost!

Total waste of money. I found nothing impressive on this hotel, from lack of shattle services from the airport to minimal hospitality to very std overpriced rooms. I will not recommend this hotel not even for transit layover purposes. Find an alternative if you can.
