I stay in Woodstock resort It was such a wonderful stay The services are very good Rooms are nicely maintained Clean room Food is yummy Staff are so polite and courteous Highly recommend must visit this place Lovely place surrounded by mountains And from restaurant the view is awesome You can have food with lovely view of paddy field and mountain Weather changes immediately Love the place

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

This is a simple, clean and quiet place to stay at while at Shillong. The rooms are large enough for a couple. The property is in a quieter part of the town. The staff at the reception, are friendly and efficient. The only area for improvement is breakfast. It is too simple. If they could add some fruit to begin with, it would make a big difference.

We recently stayed at this hotel for three days, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The team was attentive, professional, and always ready to assist, but one staff member, in particular, stood out—Verdi. Verdi was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Not only did he ensure we had everything we needed at the hotel, but he also provided us with invaluable local knowledge. He recommended some offbeat places to explore, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. While we had already planned to visit a few popular tourist spots, Verdi’s suggestions gave us the opportunity to experience the more hidden gems of the area. These less-known places were unique and allowed us to see a side of the destination that most visitors might miss. Thanks to his recommendations, we ventured off the beaten path and explored areas that were peaceful, scenic, and rich in culture. It made our trip even more memorable. Verdi’s genuine care and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Overall, the hotel offered excellent service, and we were very impressed by the staff, especially Verdi. If you're looking for a place where the staff not only meets your needs but also elevates your travel experience, this is the perfect spot. We highly recommend it!

The hotel was booked after considering the TripAdvisor reviews and it was somehow on our price range that we were looking for to stay in Shillong. The staff was nice and welcoming which even offered us a small upgrade for our room. The room size with 'King Bed' was quite spacious and everything looked neat and tidy as shown in the photographs. Few Downsides due to which I had to cut a star: 1. s 'Breakfast' was very limited and you'll feel it's better to order via Zomato if you plan to go on a full d day tour. 2. Basic amenities such as soap etc. are being kept to limited level. 3. As the hotel is based on a busy street and if you're a light sleeper in the night you will be constantly waked up in the night by the noise.

I visited this place ***** with my friends. The location is in the heart of the City. We visited this place for dinner and we enjoyed taking pictures by the pool area.
