My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vivanta by Taj Shillong, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Welcome - From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. Special thanks to Mercy from the front desk for her exceptional service. Room - We were pleasantly surprised with a fantastic room upgrade to a family room, which was spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The decor was minimal but functional & made us feel truly welcome. Housekeeping - We also want to express our sincere gratitude to the housekeeping team for their impeccable service. The room was always clean and tidy, and they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Thanks to them for all the decor for birthday celebration of my child. Restaurant - A special shout-out to the restaurant team, including Meba, Justin, Rapmica, Suman, Fadrik, Chef Ranju, and Diwakar, for making my daughter's birthday celebration so memorable. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding (One of the best Pastas i have had in a very long time) Location - The hotel's central location in Police Bazar was a huge plus, as it was within walking distance of the bazaar, nearby attractions, and the taxi stand. This made it easy for us to explore the city and enjoy all it had to offer. Final Verdict - Overall, our stay at Vivanta by Taj Shillong was exceptional. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the accommodations were top-notch, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend staying in Vivanta Shillong

PPratushNThe hotel was booked after considering the TripAdvisor reviews and it was somehow on our price range that we were looking for to stay in Shillong. The staff was nice and welcoming which even offered us a small upgrade for our room. The room size with 'King Bed' was quite spacious and everything looked neat and tidy as shown in the photographs. Few Downsides due to which I had to cut a star: 1. s 'Breakfast' was very limited and you'll feel it's better to order via Zomato if you plan to go on a full d day tour. 2. Basic amenities such as soap etc. are being kept to limited level. 3. As the hotel is based on a busy street and if you're a light sleeper in the night you will be constantly waked up in the night by the noise.
