Travelodge Dumfries

Stayed here for one night on business. Super friendly staff, clean hotel, lovely big rooms! WiFi was only £3 for 24 hours and really quick. They even posted a missing belonging I left in my room. Huge thank you to the staff, wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again.

Arrived to discover I had booked a double room and not an accessible room for wheelchair user. Wheelchair would not enter bathroom in normal room so as both accessible rooms had been booked David on reception negotiated a swap which occupants were perfectly happy to do and we enjoyed an overnight stay. David was really so helpful with personality to overcome what was going to be an impossible situation leaving everyone involved happy with their outcome. I learnt an important lesson for future bookings to!! The Hotel was clean inviting and practical for our travel purposes, not homely for an extended stay but they don't pretend to be. They also welcome our poodle which is something the other major travel hotel brand do not do.

This was a great place to stay for a very brief trip to Dumfries for family reasons.We were up for a funeral and needed a nice problem free comfortable stay

Nice and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Jessica, one of the ladies who does the rooms, was most friendly and pleasant, and her cheery manner really brightened my morning. The hotel is a bit far if you want to walk into town more than once per day, but there is a bus stop nearby.

What can I say. The service was amazing. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel needs a updating compared to some of the new travelodges. But it was clean and comfortable. Sort the pot holes in the car park.

Really quiet overnight looking out onto a grassy area with its own rabbit. Friendly staff who gave us information on places to go. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, temperature was just right and easy parking.

The rooms were clean on first glance. The wash basin in the bathroom was baddly cracked, obviously a health hazard, and the underside of the handwash dispenser hadn't been cleaned for weeks! The room was comfortable but lacked cupbord storage space.

Avoid this hotel unless desperate. It is far from Dumfries centre and if you need food or drink you will need to travel 2 miles into town or to supermarkets. Beware compound car park as it contains many suspension killing potholes.

It was what it was but next time I’m back I’ll be using the other place. Wasn’t impressed no proper breakfast but that could be me not reading small print. Wi Fi only covers 2 people and we were a family of 3 so I had no WiFi
