We were only stopping overnight on our way to Cannes, but what a find, this hotel is luxurious with a real old meets new feel. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was stunning, and equally tasty and of excellent value was the breakfast. Please don’t overlook this hotel. We are fussy travellers, and would return for sure.

We stayed overnight on our drive from the UK to Provence. Dijon was cold, about -2C outside, and the heating in our room came from one small electric heater. The temperature inside was 12C. We were on the second floor (third floor for Americans) and the elevator was broken. There was no heating in the bathroom so we couldn't shower. I rang reception and was moved to the room across the hallway which had a larger single heater. The room was large, maybe 300 square feet. We found a second duvet in the closet and put it on top of the bed to keep warm. We think they should have closed this part of the hotel if both the elevator and the heating was substandard/non existent. A French couple also complained to reception about the lack of heat. Sad because the location is great, there is an underground carpark across the way, and the restaurant is excellent.

The TV was not working (no chrome cast), and the shower was not as advertised. It was basically a bathtub with a handheld nozzle you had to hold above your head. They gave us 10% off our bill for the broken TV (they also offered to move us to the next room), but this basically just covered the cost of breakfast (not included).

It was very close to all of the areas attractions. Staff was helpful and nice.

This is such an old historical hotel that has been tastefully and beautifully updated so that the rooms and facilities are top-notch. Beautiful inner courtyard that is used for cocktails was wonderful! Restaurant was wonderful and breakfast was perfect. Staff will do whatever is necessary to make you comfortable. Loved this hotel!

Lovely hotel and had the potential to be stunning, but was just a little tired and unkempt. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant staff were a little over worked in the evening, so could of done with another set of hands. Fantastic food and breakfast. Room was generous in size, but just a little tired and needed a revamp. Cannot fault the cleanliness of the room, though bed was a little harder than I’m used to. Courtyards were lovely, though a little unkempt. Great location being only a couple of minutes walk from the main square, with lots of nice bars, historical buildings and plenty of shops, should you to buy anything. Secure car park right opposite the entrance to the hotel for overnight parking.

We stayed at this hotel on the way back to the UK from South of France because it was dog friendly. Seemed very overpriced for what it was, despite the central location. The restaurant was closed so we had to venture out which was inconvenient with a young baby and a dog. We were also given a room on the top floor so had to lug all of our luggage up and down the stairs. Car parking and breakfast are also an additional cost. We had to park down the road despite travelling with a young baby and a dog. Staff were friendly but would certainly not stay here again.
