Anjiamarango Beach Resort

Stayed here for 3 nights. We were welcomed with a refreshing juice and a towel. Friendly staff to welcome you. The pool was a rim flow which gives you a great view of the ocean. Was good to be in a pool as our last lodge unfortunately didnt have a pool to cool down in. Food: Breakfast was OK, nothing WOW very simple continental breakfast. Lunch and dinner you choose from a menu about 2 hours before. Fresh seafood! Nothing is too much trouble for all staff members and being only English speaking we didnt battle to communicate. We did have some problems with sand fleas which unfortunately made it slightly unpleasant and left you itching so take lots of antihestamine cream Overall Philippe and his wife have a wonderful place and will recommend for some R & R

Fabulous hotel. The big aloes are perfectly situated and you can hear the sea. The pool is great with nice seating area around. The restaurant and bar serve great food and drink and everything is reasonably priced! Amazing stay. Thank you Philippe!

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time at the idyllic resort. The bungalows were spacious but cosy, with direct access to the sea, which we loved. Delicious food and friendly staff, great excursions and a fun social program!

It took us a few visits to Nosy Be to find this place, recommended by an American friend from Tana who said it felt the most free for families - to swim, wander the beach, kayak in the mangroves... with no other hotels nearby. The owner Philippe's family is here too. I just sent my adult daughter on a first trip to Madagascar, knowing she'd be safe and well cared for. If you want the edgy bar vibe of places close to Hell-ville, you may find this too peaceful and remote. Yet only 30 minutes from the airport, on a scenic road. But the food is excellent - succulent crab salad, fish soup, lobster in season, fresh fish catch of the day. Fresh coconut and fruits. Generous breakfast buffet. If you want an early coffee, ask for a hot water flask at supper. If you want Malagasy greens or special dishes, just ask. The more remote location means the beach is clean and secure.

Our stay at Anjiamarango was extraordinary due to the warm and great hospitality we experienced from the owner Philippe. We had a problem with our flight and he helped us fixing it spending hours on daily basis on it. We never experienced such kindness from a hotelier before anywhere on earth. Without his help we would have been stuck on the island. Besides that, the bungalows give you the chance to experience a traditional Malagasy way of living in the pure nature including some visitors like frogs and lizards. We were there at the beginning of the rain season and were able to experience heavy rainfalls during the night, those sounds were remarkable! The restaurant offers highly qualitative and tasty dishes and the chef is trying to personalize the service wherever possible by collecting your lunch or dinner wishes beforehand so that you don't have to wait too long for your meal. The price performance ratio is also fantastic. The pool gives you a gorgeous view on the ocean and beach, which invites you for long walks. Phillipe is offering lots of activities such as canoeing, mountain biking (free of charge) and excursions to e.g. Nosy Irania, National Park or whale watching which are highly recommendable. The staff was very attentive and friendly with a high service level coming close to a real 5 star hotel service. The location of the resort and reaching it is so adventurous and impressive as well. Twice a week there is live entertainment with local bands and singers which allows you to take a dive into the local culture. All in all, we can truely recommend Philippe's lovely resort and we will come back one day bringing friends and family as well to this little paradise. We had a wonderful stay at this magical place. Philippe and his team were more than helpful and friendly that you’ll feel right at home. They even helped me with a surprise proposal at the most beautiful and romantic island. I would recommend this place for everyone. ☺️

Beautiful and clear sea. Clean and big bungallows, that are taken care of daily. Pleasant and hospital staff, the same goes for the owner Philip. Delicious food. Recommended for all, families with children included.

Rooms are magnificent very beautiful and very comfortable very clean place. The owner, Philip is very nice and helpful with all the requests. Prices are in line and very reccomendable. The food at the restaurant is very good. all the workers are very nice and very helpful
