Sunset Beach View

Dopo 2 anni di pandemia parti felice per le Maldive e cosa trovi . . . Guest House a conduzione maldiviana, gestita male è forse un complimento. Per la sostituzione degli asciugamani e lenzuola meglio chiedere di persona all'unico ragazzo che si occupa delle 4 stanze, altrimenti rimarranno quelle per tutto il soggiorno. Le stanze con aria condizionata e ventilatore sono pulite se ci pensate un po' voi stessi (nessun safe, quindi occhio ai vostri beni). L'arredamento non rispecchia più molto quelle postate su TripAdvisor (cambiate in peggio ovviamente). Ripetitiva la colazione: 3 toast, burro, marmellata di fragole, frittata e wurstel con succo e caffè osceni. La spiaggetta della GH, disastrata con cumuli di detriti edili e monnezza varia. Non aspettatevi davvero le famose spiagge bianche brillanti. Oltre a ciò, godrete gratuitamente di aroma terapia offerta da un tubo rotto delle acque luride a pochi passi da voi, Rispetto a quanto descritto nell'offerta non ci sono stati elargiti vari servizi. 1) Escursione tra delfini con cocktail al tramonto 2) Escursione al San bank con pic-nic 3) BBC in spiaggia 4) Maglietta #LoveDive 5) Senza tralasciare i disservizi del vitto Insomma, a parte le immersioni, vitto e alloggio = grande delusione. Consiglio di leggere le recensioni negative in TripAdvisor (ma come Mala boutique in) perché danno un'idea più reale della situazione. Il cambio di nome in Sunset Beach View serve forse a mascherare l'oscenità del luogo. Dhangethi ? Forse ci torno Mala o Sunset MAI PIÙ e nemmeno hotel Perla (medesima gestione) Il rimborso dei disservizi . . . per fortuna che conosco personalmente il tour operator, i ridicoli 30 euro non mi cambiano la vita. Per tutto questo il tour operator dà la colpa al COVID (oramai è diventata una moda per discolparsi di ogni malandazzo). In questa location manca la voglia di lavorare ma non quella di fregare il turista. Quella non manca mai specialmente in certi angoli del mondo. Di luoghi ne ho visitati molti; (dall'Islanda, all'Almerica centrale, Bali - Jakarta - Malesia - Filippine - Raja Ampat - Vietnam - Cambogia - West Papua; ma è solo la seconda o terza volta che mi ritrovo in un disagio simile. UN CONSIGLIO = EVITATE QUESTA STRUTTURA E NON FIDATEVI DEL GESTORE, HA LA GRANDE CAPACITA' DI DISTORCERE LA VERITA'

Petit hôtel très sympa avec une belle vue sur le lagon. Mohamed est adorable et a répondu à toutes nos demandes A noter que la chambre était spacieuse et climatisée (indispensable avec les températures extérieures) Très bon rapport qualité-prix

I would recommend this place very warmly. The room was clean, it was cleaned everyday. It was quiet and right by the ocean. We had breakfast in the morning right by the waterside, good breakfast, both traditional Maldive and continental. It was close to all the good restaurants by the beach, only a few minutes walk to Compass Beach Bistro. Also we where diving with Scuba Divine, it was only 2 min walk from them. And only a few minutes walk to bikini beach. Very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and helped us with everything we asked about. When we came and left, they picked us up by the ferry and took our bags from/to the ferry and waited with us until the ferry came when we left. Lush garden in the hotel and a small terrace to overview the ocean. If we come back to Dhangethi we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 12 nights and had a lovely time. It is a great value for the price. Of course you cannot expect luxury resort. Accommodation was fine, we had everything we need, staff was helpful and our kids really enjoyed lovely garden. Also the distance from the bikini beach is very short. Room have everything we need - AC, simple bathroom, enough space even for family of 4, and also flat TV (even though we didnt used it at all). Breakfast was also decent and served on lovely beach area with the view on small sharks on the reef. If u are family like us - rather save money for simple, yet clean accommodation, and spend more on trips, excursions etc...this is your best choice

I stayed at Sunset View Beach for a week and it was a very comfortable and homely stay. The rooms were spacious, tidy, clean and enough linen was provided. The air-conditioning worked great and the washrooms were well fitted with all the required bath fittings. I spoke with Ahmed for bookings, and he was most helpful with all of my queries and was very prompt with his responses. Many thanks to Ahmed 😃. During my stay, Mohammed was always available and took care of every request. He organised a wonderful sandbank sunset dinner. He also took me around the island to show all the shops and cafes. It was very helpful in getting to know the island. Thank you Mohammad 😃The rooms were regularly cleaned and the breakfast was delicious with many options available! I thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed during my stay with Sunset View Beach. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. It's proximity to the cafes and beach is a plus point.
