I arrived in the afternoon and went straight to the private beach, then to the inside jacuzzi + sauna + steam room + heated floating pool.
The bedroom was super clean, had a nice smell & was overlooking the infinity pool and the beach.
The buffet for lunch and dinner was delicious. Breakfast was brought to my room 😋.
The massages were super relaxing.
Needless to say, I had an awesome time there.

In November 2022, the desk receptionist was personable. Also, there was mud in each room and the room air conditioners worked all the time. Last week, it was on Day 2 that a technician explained that they automatically shut off when the door opens/closes. Surprise innovation? In extreme heat, our room was very hot upon our return from various activities.
Also, we were required to purchase mud from a retailer on Level 1-, who tried to push products on us (guaranteed to make me look young again!!!) and became annoying each time we passed her store.
However, I certainly would return to Herod's. It's first rate - and Adam, a receptionist, was outstanding.

beach is amazing as well as the pools but the hotel need to be refurbished in order to call it a 5 star. at the moment I wont give it more than 3 stars.

This is an amazing place to stay at when visiting the Dead Sea. Beautiful beach, swimming pool, and delicious food options.

The hotel is very nice, they have their own beach which is amazing. The property is clean. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The only concern was a bit of a mess during breakfast. Some of the staff don't seem to speak neither English nor Hebrew and as the result gave unhelpful or incorrect answers. Other than that we've enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again.
BTW, the *******'s note that the price is including all the fees and taxes was incorrect.

The Hotel has seen better days. The property is not well kept. Dirty. The maintenance of common areas is lacking and the facilities are outdated
