Perry's Ocean-Edge Resort

We enjoyed our stay at Perry’s! The indoor pool was great when the summer showers appeared! It is super close to Winn Dixie and Putt Putt

By far the best place to stay in Daytona. They have done a fantastic job renovating the property and rooms. Large rooms with 2nd room kitchen. Views were great and beds very comfortable. Bonus was the wonderful donuts for free every morning. I come to Daytona annually and this will be the only place I stay.

The location is perfect because it’s in super close walking distance to iHop, Winn Dixie, and 7Eleven. The beach was absolutely beautiful of course. Upon checking in I found the woman who checked us in to be less than pleasant, but maybe she was having a bad day—Honestly that’s not an excuse, but whatever it is what it is, we got checked in. Make sure you only bring 1 vehicle per car because they’re very strict on that rule. The parking lot is ridiculously small, but we made it work. The room was updated and though it wasn’t stated on the room description that it had a stove, it did have two flat surface burners on the counter which was great. The children’s room has no door, so if that bothers you bring a sheet. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better because the toilet was unclean especially on the outside around the bottom. The balcony is nice and big which I liked, but I would’ve liked it better had when I asked for an upper level they put me above level 2. The pools are nice, the outdoor pool is smaller than the indoor pool. The amenities are alright, they’ve got cornhole, golf, shuffleboard (all that I noticed). The bathrooms outside is nice and convenient because they’re close to the pools / patios. Would I book another room here— yeah I suppose. Oh, the Tiki bar has some nice affordable drinks as well— I’m not sure about the food though.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Everyone was friends. I highly recommend

The room was nice and clean and a beautiful oceanfront view. What I didn’t like was our room was 108 which is the first room on the end where the elevators are plus the Broadway opening to the beach so it was extremely noisy. The walls are very thin. Also they seem to have problems with the plumbing as we had a blocked toilet on our last day which I heard other rooms had the same problem. Other than that it was perfect for our stay that we were here for the Daytona 500 so it was not far away

Room was great, clean, comfortable and well kept. Outside the Hotel has still not fully recovered from last ocean damage.

While our room was updated, the bathroom needed help. We had to have maintenance come to re-attach the toilet to the floor… The property, overall, is old, tired and worn out. The damage from the storms last summer had not been repaired on the beach… Checkin is listed as 4pm, but we weren’t able to ge into our room until almost 5…

Unbelievably breathtaking Hotel. Well equipped kitchen.Spacious Room with Patio overlooking the sunbathing Pool That's Over looking white Sand Beach with Beautiful clusters of Waves perfect for Surfing. The "Diamond" that took My breath away, was unbelievable Perfect Full Views from my Balcony Of The Enormous Gigantic Spectacular Bright Stunning SUNRISE!! Rising up, undescribable, Shining upon the Water and the Sand at The Worlds Most Famous Beach. Folks You gotta see This Natural Event. You gotta stay for the SUNRISE!! The Hotel is a Dynasty.

Invest in hinges that PREVENT room doors from SLAMMING. Some of us actually r asleep after 11pm AND some prefer not to wake at 5am. Doors r being SLAMMED closed all night long !
