Perry's Ocean-Edge Resort

We enjoyed our stay at Perry’s! The indoor pool was great when the summer showers appeared! It is super close to Winn Dixie and Putt Putt

By far the best place to stay in Daytona. They have done a fantastic job renovating the property and rooms. Large rooms with 2nd room kitchen. Views were great and beds very comfortable. Bonus was the wonderful donuts for free every morning. I come to Daytona annually and this will be the only place I stay.

The location is perfect because it’s in super close walking distance to iHop, Winn Dixie, and 7Eleven. The beach was absolutely beautiful of course. Upon checking in I found the woman who checked us in to be less than pleasant, but maybe she was having a bad day—Honestly that’s not an excuse, but whatever it is what it is, we got checked in. Make sure you only bring 1 vehicle per car because they’re very strict on that rule. The parking lot is ridiculously small, but we made it work. The room was updated and though it wasn’t stated on the room description that it had a stove, it did have two flat surface burners on the counter which was great. The children’s room has no door, so if that bothers you bring a sheet. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better because the toilet was unclean especially on the outside around the bottom. The balcony is nice and big which I liked, but I would’ve liked it better had when I asked for an upper level they put me above level 2. The pools are nice, the outdoor pool is smaller than the indoor pool. The amenities are alright, they’ve got cornhole, golf, shuffleboard (all that I noticed). The bathrooms outside is nice and convenient because they’re close to the pools / patios. Would I book another room here— yeah I suppose. Oh, the Tiki bar has some nice affordable drinks as well— I’m not sure about the food though.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Everyone was friends. I highly recommend

The hotel is nice enough. Older, a little worn in places. Only one elevator was working. The pools were all open, but there is still a lot of clean up needed outdoors. The seawall is crumbled, entrances to the ocean were closed or pretty unsafe with broken steps to the beach, crumbled concrete, and lopsided drop offs. Our room was clean, well equipped kitchenette, nice clean bathroom. Our room was near the elevator so it was a little loud, but noise wasn’t too bad. I felt safe there alone with my two teenagers and it seemed families with younger kids were having a blast. Winn Dixie is right across the street and a surf shop not far for needed supplies. If we hear the sea wall is cleaned up, we will be back!

Good as usual, if not by south tower elevator. There is no sound barrier through the door. We love the abundance of towels and service by housekeeping. New renovations are nice in main lobby.

Usually a West coast girl but found this place last month. Stayed for one night and liked it so much came back with the family for Spring Break! Can’t beat being right on the beach, 3 pools and a tiki bar on site! Front desk even remembered me from last month. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s an old hotel but well renovated. They texted a couple times to check on my stay and what they could do better. The only issue I had was with the laundry area as 2 of the 3 washers were down causing laundry a problem to get done especially since it was bike week and people were there for a while

The front desk was 5 stars. Even during bike week they were great! We had a hiccup with housekeeping but it was immediately made right. Would definitely stay again!!!
