We stayed in December, upon arrival the staff informed us that the restaurant would not be open for lunch or dinner as there were not enough guests staying. Also the rooftop bar and eating area was closed due to maintenance and had concrete bags, and dusty, worn furniture. Another big disappointment was the buffet breakfast which was extremely minimal, both in quantity and variety. Our room was not cleaned for three days. Communication with the staff was very difficult, and while they tried to be helpful, it made our stay more difficult (e.g we asked for an extra blanket for our daughter and were told to wait until the morning). Multiple guests were having problems with their room key cards not working, the safe needed batteries and we needed to ask them to replace the kettle which was not working. The mattresses were extremely firm. Overall it was a frustrating stay and not the relaxing holiday we had intended, so we checked out early.
