Mamasara Cusco

We had originally booked at an adjacent property, which was shut down. Thankfully this hotel had availability and was also of great quality. The property is large, the rooms are appropriately sized. My only criticism of the room is the placement of some of the electrical outlets. Hot showers. Supportive beds, comfortable pillows. The breakfast included was a great arrangement of fruits and yogurt and cereal. The staff were thoughtful and able to pack us up a bagged meal for our early exclusion. Special shout-out to Jeans, one of the conceirge / everything staff. He answered our many questions and requests despite the language barrier. Thank you so much for all the help, it was truly appreciated. Luggage storage is also offered.

Stayed here with a group of travelers. It’s a nice and clean hotel with a good breakfast. Breakfast has coffee, teas, fruits, cheeses, bread and eggs. The staff were all very nice and accomodating. It’s a little further from the historic plaza than I thought but still very walkable. We had some early mornings and they even packed us little snack bags when we left before breakfast was served.

I had the most amazing night at Mamasara. It was my birthday and they decorated the room with roses and chocolates and allowed me to have late check out which was very kind. The room was very comfortable, a great bed and bathroom with all the amenities and super hot and powerful shower. Delicious breakfast in the morning and lovely staff. So cheap too I couldn’t believe it!

Negative stars!!! We made an ******* reservation for this place. When we arrived at Hotel Mamasara in the early evening, the receptionist basically told us that we did not have a reservation, did not have a room, and showed us the door even when we showed him all our paperwork. This was the result even after he called the manager or whomever was in charge as we overheard and understood the whole conversation. There was no apology nor any assistance to even find us a room elsewhere. Mind you we made this booking weeks in advance, booked a one night stay for 2 adults and 2 small kids and reserved a triple bed room. We saw the room reservation list and they basically gave away our room for a tour group that was coming from eastern Europe. Imagine us scrambling to get a place to sleep for the night last minute on our first night in Cusco with the symptoms of altitude sickness already setting in. Do not let this happen to you! Secure a room with a reputable hotel brand and not this mom and pop never heard hotel that may cancel your booking on a whim. The savings is not worth the headache and severe inconvenience. And frankly, it is not even in a good location, is quite a walk from the center of town. It is old and dingy, there is nothing quaint about this ******* looking hotel and there are lots and lots of better options with better customer service and western standards. And to top it all, they still had the nerve to charge us for a room we did not have. I am now fighting the charges with my credit card company as ******* customer service is the worst! This hotel is completely unprofessional. Do not book here or you may end up without a room reservation. For the price they charge, there are many comparable and better places that won't treat customers like the way we were treated. Absolutely disgusting!

Atención súper amables y atentos, el desayuno estuvo muy completo, con 3 tipos de jugos, huevos, palta, queso, jamón, panes y variedad de fruta. Muy bien ubicado a Máximo 10 minutos caminando a la plaza, ya he ido dos veces, lo recomiendo.

La calidad de atención, el respeto y la amabilidad en cada momento es lo que más valoro; así como también la impecable labor de limpieza diaria del Hotel Mamasara, han hecho que mi familia y yo pasemos estos 8 días, muy contentos de haber elegido al Hotel Mamasara. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me gusto mucho la locación así como la organización del lugar. Fueron muy cordiales en la atención y nos permitieron tomar desayuno fuera de la hora. Los alimentos en perfecto estado. Muchas gracias, super recomendable.

Atención muy buena y el agua caliente salía a todo momento. El desayuno fue agradable , y la calefacción funciona desde la tarde y calienta bien. El hotel estaba cerca de la plaza de Armas. Buena ubicación! Me hospede 3 noches y todo muy bien.

Muy buen servicio, desde la atención al momento de llegar, nos brindaron todas las facilidades que necesitábamos. Además, todo el personal muy amable. Los cuartos limpios y ordenados. El desayuno muy rico. Definitivamente volvería a ir.
