Hotel Kastel

Despite the low ratings on Booking, this accommodation was booked in good faith and due to a last minute decision to take a vacation. We certainly did not expect the situation to be that bad. The rooms are average, the hygiene should be at a higher level (for example, the shower is not washed at all, the curtains need immediate replacement as well as the shower heads which are non-functional). There od also a lot of dust everywhere. No hair dryer, TV does not have signal. On first floor we had problem with the noise from kitchen ventilation. That part is actually something that can be overlooked considering that most people spend quite a bit of time on vacation in their rooms. What is worrisome is the quality of the food which is not worthy of a guesthouse by the national road. The food has a questionable appearance, only the cheapest ingrediance, the hygiene of the premises is poor (at dinner a tablecloth with a stain was found at the table, and then in the morning at breakfast at the same table the same tablecloth, which means they don't change them). The staff does not communicate, the tables are not cleaned and served after the guests leave,... Although obviously the hotel without investment and any standard will find guests because it is full, this review had to be written for a peaceful soul.

-receptionist hostile,young blonde receptionist can't even answer the greeting of departure, sarcastic , she dont like this jobs. older blonde receptionist frendly and helpfull in the kitchen staff friendly. food typical hotel, but very good -dust, handprints when first entering the room - expensive parking, no fridge, no hair dryer, no shampoo, only shower gel, nice place, near to beach, from the outside, the hotel is beautiful, the photos of the interior do not correspond to reality, given the price, it would accept it, however, if it was properly cleaned.

All' arrivo ci ha accolto una ragazza alla reception con qui ci sono stati problemi di comunicazione in quanto poco in grado di interloquire in inglese. La stanza si presentava poco pulita ( zanzare schiacciate su varie zone dei muri che presentavano tracce di sangue ) con varie zone sporche e polverose. Vecchi asciugamani lasciati dentro l armadio. La stanza , senza aria condizionata e zanzariere alle finestre , è risultata molto calda e poco vivibile ( se di notte si lascia la finestra aperta la stanza si riempie di zanzare ) . A differenza della zona notte, quella del ristorante per colazione e cena è risultata accogliente e i camerieri molto gentili e ospitali.
