Serita Beach Hotel

We had a great stay at Serita Beach! The service, the location, the facilities, the staff, the entertainers, we loved everything! So much so that we decided to put money aside to come back next year for a longer stay. It's not exactly 5 stars, it's true, and you can find minuses if you want to be grumpy (we, for example, didn't like the coffee at the hotel at all, the only decent one being at the indoor bar, and the toilet paper we got in the bathroom) but that doesn't detract from the charm and location of the Serita resort. Plus sides: - Perfect location in a quiet area, ideal for families with children. - Free private beach. It is pebbly, but not 10 minutes to the left is an extra fine sandy beach which we thoroughly enjoyed. - Clean everywhere, all the time. Rooms cleaned daily. - Minibar in room with water and local juices filled daily. - Good, fresh and varied food. Anyone who says there are few dishes needs to creatively practice more combinations. Seriously! - Swimming pools with super clean sea water. - Cool and creative entertainers. - Friendly staff, extremely attentive to our needs. They worked hard all day so we could relax. - Doctor on site. - Mini kids club with qualified supervision and children's entertainment 3 times a day (mini disco in the evening). - Varied and enjoyable evening program for all tastes. We caught saxophone concert, accordion concert, variety show, Greek music, karaoke, jazz concert. - The entertainment team was super. We are not too easy to engage in activities but they managed and kept us entertained. - Free wifi internet all over the venue. - And last but not least, the hotel is quite close to Cretaquarium, AquaWorld, Hersonissos harbor, St. George's Monastery in Selinari, which you can quickly get to with a rental car right from the hotel's courtyard or other beachside rent a cars. Or, you can take the tourist train (€12) and it takes you around the area, 1.5 hours (2 hop off included). - we used the freenow app for taxi alternatives. Minus - Very poor coffee at the table and everywhere in the resort. - Few sun loungers on the beach. - Small shortcomings in the room not worth mentioning though. Thanks for everything to the people who work in this resort, they made us feel excellent. It was a very enjoyable stay for us and we can't wait to come back!

This was 3rd time of going to this hotel, and basically despite being upgraded to 5* it has gone down in our estimation. The positives firstly... Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Manos on front desk. He always helped us to rectify any issues we had. The bar staff were under a lot of pressure, as seemed short staffed, but managed a smile and a laugh. The pool areas kept clean, and gardens maintained. The sun loungers had been upgraded to better one's. The tiles around pool were less slippy on this visit, so assume been replaced, as they used to be lethal! Our room was right next to smaller pool which was convenient for us. On our anniversary, Manos kindly arranged a bottle of Brut and a plate of fruit to be sent to our room. The negatives... Hotel looking tired in areas. Walls and ceilings patched up with paint, handles falling off in bathroom and fitments need upgrading. We had 2 evenings of flooding in bathroom due to bad drainage/plumbing systems(as told by management). There was a kettle and tea making facilities in room, but after the first day, the milk was not replenished. We had to get cups of milk everyday. A couple of days our water was not replenished, but always plenty of pop which we never drink! The food was our biggest disappointment. Not 5* standard. The speciality restaurants were awful. Used to be a good dining experience, but no longer so. The cocktails are weak and cheap alcohol, and have to pay extra for certain drinks. You have to queue for drinks at both pool bar and main bar, which in the past, there were waiters who came round tables to take orders. Our other gripe was people smoking by the pool and on terrace. Perhaps now in modern times, with smoking unhealthy, it should be designated to certain areas? We did hear that the hotel was to be demolished soon, and new buildings erected. Hopefully the general standards will return to as we experienced 13 years and 8 years ago. The only other disadvantage is the hotel is not in easy access to main town. Taxi is 10 euros to Hersonisis. Overall, we still had nice week, but could have been better.

Great experience at the spa, really relaxing, Katerina did a grea full body massage for me. The pool at the hotel is also great, water is very clean and the sea is very close. Food is enjoyable, big selection. No problem with finding a sunbed, great

I just wanna write that we was already satisfied with our stay at Serita beach. Highlights for us was the bar with name Souvlaki/ pool bar (between the pools). Barmans there (Costas and Christos) make for us better. Not just with their taste Drinks, mainly with the kind and nice behaviour, if want some helps or get some information we can ask there. One more time thank you, guys.

Beautiful hotel comfy rooms with fridge also kettle with coffee and tea. The waiters in the bars are really good especially Christos at the pool bar nothing is too much trouble for him he works hard to give us what we need. The staff in the restaurants are friendly and service is good. The food in the main restaurant was never hot if you wanted the hot option breakfast lunch and dinner it was always lukewarm.We did tell the manager that we were not happy with this but apparently it’s been like that for months he doesn’t seem to care. The food in the themed restaurants was so much better hot and tasty. We would go back only if the main restaurant improved 100percent

It was amazing.The spa was the best I ever have visited.The personal was very kind and very funny.I have Katerina in the Spa she was very kind and good,she is very good in her job and very profesional It was very good expirence and I really enjoyed it here. You should definitly visit it.

Our first time greece vacay led us to a week at Serita Beach, which was an overall very good experience. The service personell particularly was outstanding at every single touchpoint of our journey and elevated the whole experience to truly match the 5 stars experience. The whole facility was very clean and looked gorgeous and every day felt like spending a day in paradise. The food was generally good, but not on a 5 star level, which I have understanding for on the other side given the huge quantities that are dished out every day. We really had to get used to the salt water from the tab as it put us on the challenge of making our 4 year old daughter understand that this is not drinking water. These factors are the only ones why I am not giving 5 stars here. I want to leave a special important note of gratitude and appreciation to the amazing entertainment and animation team in the hotel. The group around Timo, Tami and all the entire team were more than excellent! Family vacation can be still challenging and sometimes stressful with little kids, but they took so much care and it was the first time we left our daughter with someone else than family and they deserved all the trust from us. Our daughter is still now talking about the great time she had with the mini club and particularly the mini disco. Thank you, team! You made this a very special family vacation for us that we will fondly remember in the future. ＜3

The best cretan massage that i did in the serita spa with Eleftheria.I come for one week.I like the pool and the food.The room is nice with view in the sea and the pool..I recommend you to visit the spa and hotel.The pools are nice and the animation team

Katerina from the Serita spa gave me an amazing massage, the staff at the spa were so friendly, left feeling so relaxed would definitely visit again! Made sure me and my friend were comfortable and had an enjoyable experience. Very fair price for quality and time of treatment too!
