We had a lovely stay a Santa Rosa. The accommodation (2 bed) for our family of 4 was clean (cleaned almost daily), modern and spacious. We opted for self-catering. It was simple to use the breakfast buffet/evening meal if you wished and very good value - but we prefer to explore. Comfy beds, large bathroom. The pool was cold but you soon adjusted and the kids loved it. Daily football and bingo was a highlight for our boys. The pool bar was really reasonably priced (€2.50 large beer). Top tip - Jumpers needed at night in Feb. Cheap taxis available (literally only €3 to the beach), but only 15 min walk to the beaches and restaurants/bars are everywhere. The Supermarket and chemist are on the doorstep. We enjoyed several trips - the short volcano tour and a catamaran tour to La Gracioca. Thank you for a fabulous stay Santa Rosa and we really hope to return again for winter sun.

We have just finished a week's stay and can't say we'd stay again the apar**ents themselves are lovely with a homely feel and the cats who came to visit every night were great to. The food is very basic and small choice to choose not many veggie options. Most of the staff seem miserable the English lady who works on the bar is lovely. The bar closing at 9 however is a super buzz kill when you fancy a late drink and no nighttime entertainment can make it boring overall we had a lovely time but wouldn't stay again

About 1 km from teguise square an a nice stroll . Initial view was a very nice hotel with a decent sized pool and loads of sun-beds, the pool is very cold , there is also a heated indoor pool and a gym which guests can use alongside the public . There is a second pool in the hotel vicinity that share the site and it is for holiday property bond holders (HPB) but not available for Santa Rosa guests. Key code to get access. The superior rooms are massive and recommended and whole on whole well maintained with microwave , fridge, coffee machine, kettle an two cooking rings .Locally there are a few bars and restaurants especially the Fisherman’s inn around the hotel which is well worth frequenting . The breakfast is the usual cooked and uncooked foods ,Half board is evening meal only , no option to eat in the afternoon , the choice of food though is hugely disappointing. and when compared to other hotels in lanza, other canaries and mainland Spain . This negative is not only from myself but other guests . In our apartment the balcony wall ( balustrade) has a glass panel and on arrival the glass has substantial crack in it . Reported to reception. But not replaced before leaving . The apartment sun-beds need a very good clean and lack of housekeeping in my view is evident , never seen pool area swept or hosed down during our stay , there was rubbish on the footpath to reception which remained in place for 3 days . One of the Swimming pool canopy stands( legs ) was severely corroded , but work was started to replace them and metal grinders used to dismantle , but rust an debris left in work area and on sunbeds which weren’t moved from the work area . While modernisation is on goin in the apartments , with a bit of effort the housekeeping issue could easily be rectified and improve the site . Lastly noticed today the laminated flooring boards in the reception area are starting to lift which may cause a trip hazard .

The hotel is an excellent choice for familes. It has everything on site that you could ever wish for , even very young children, with a huge indoor playgym . Its very clean, the restaurant has a fantastic choice and the pool bar has too. Children can learn to swim in the indoor pools with proper tuition. Send your other half to the gym whilst you sunbathe. Outdoor tennis, crazy golf. Very friendly staff what more could you want?

Great apartments for children and their parents plenty for the children to do.Entertainment staff very good,but football pitch needs levelling. Breakfast very good pity some people thinks it’s a take away service for their lunch.One or local bars and restaurants very . The Dickens Bar nice place for a beer.

It was a lovely resort which was right opposite hpb resort, they was a shared pool area - both indoor and outdoor pools. You had a little apartment either ground semi detached . They is a playground on site . Plus it it very near the sea just about a 10- 15 minute walk or so . They serve breakfast and dinner for free - if you pay for them all before hand and it is a help yourself buffet. They is a bowling alley too and a games room - which you have to pay for . would definitely go back , have happy memories of this place . If you a looking for a good beach they is one with lots of fish which you can see underwater its like a little enclosed pool . But remember to bring some sunscreen ! temperatures their can reach up to The record high recorded on the island is 43.6 degrees, although its generally in the mid twenty's. I went whale watching about an 1 hour away from the resort - did not see a whale but saw some dolphins - apparently sharks have been spotted . They are also lots of volcanoes to go and visit and the staff at the resort are very friendly ! :)

Received by reception in a very timely manner. Clear instructions on apartment location and facilities within the complex. The rooms were well kept by the cleaning team. The swimming pool area is well presented and maintained. We didn’t do the all inclusive meals but was informed by other family members it was good. Great soft play area for the kids on an evening. Just enough things to do locally to keep busy within a week. Overall we had a fantastic holiday at Santa Rosa.

Stayed with family- 2 kids aged 8&12yrs. Didn’t have high expectations as was a cheap holiday. However have been pleasantly surprised by how good it has been. Lots to do, the entertainment lads were fantastic- really friendly and good with the kids. Activities such as bowling, football, crazy golf (all free), and bingo for 1euro. Pool bar reasonably priced, staff there friendly. A relaxed and friendly vibe thought out the complex. Only issue would be no air con- not a problem for us at this time of year but would be very hot in the summer months. Location wise- within walking distance of 3 beaches. The first (Bastian) the smallest & sea can be choppy if windy, but great for exploring the rocks & pools. Second beach up has lots of fish. Take some food to give them and you will be surrounded! Lots of restaurants & bars nearby… too much choice actually and difficult to find food better than mediocre. I would recommend Los Amigos for food. Serving tapas and other local cuisine. Absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. It’s hidden away but easy to find- sign posted on the right as you walk down to Bastian beach. There’s an Italian on the road down to the beach too (can’t remember the name but it began with an S!). We didn’t go, but were told it was nice and it was always booked up.
