We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We cold not have picked a better location. The Ascot was around the corner from Tivoli Gardens, The Hop on Hop off buses, and great restaurants. The hotel itself was very well appointed and despite small rooms, it was convenient and had all the amenities we needed. The only suggestion I would have is to bring rubber soled slippers or sandals for the bathroom and shower which tend to be very slippery. Safety bars in the shower might also be helpful especially for us old folks. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Very friendly staff.

Gorgeous cosy interiors, helpful staff, loved the added extra of umbrellas! Only thing that would have been nice would have been if the tea and coffee (pods) in the room had come free of charge as would have enjoyed a cup in the mornings!
Otherwise it was fab!

Third and most likely last stay at the Ascot Hotel. After my second stay when the room
was freezing, I asked the hotel to ensure their rooms were room temperature controlled. This time, on day one, the temp was 25 degrees with no way of lowering the heat. The second day, front desk came to my room and said that they fixed it and the heating was now definitely off only to find that the room was now 26 degrees! I mentioned this at checkout and they clearly weren’t bothered.

The stay was ok, rooms smaller than anticipated. I paid extra above a standard room thinking i would have a better room based off the pictures. However this was not the case. The only thing that looked similar to the pictures advertised was the bathroom. The rest of the room seemed dated and due to it being quite old, didnt feel as clean. The hotels luggage rooms was more up to date. Other than that it was fine, staff was friendly, great location, hotel decor is great. I just felt abit let down / catfished after paying extra

room and decor lovely. Interesting and unique environment with historical roots as bathhouse. Enjoyed breakfasts with plenty of self-serve options. Especially liked easy access to precinct and local sites.
bathroom lighting is temperamental: flickers on unaccountably or difficult to turn off properly. Also, when folks play music at night in the city hall square as on the weekend of 20-21, the sound echoes -- albeit muted -- all the way up to room 409 until 2 am or so, although likely out of your hands

Room is compact but sufficient and value for money. Location is great, walkable to Tivoli Gardens and metro stations. I would stay here again if I return to Copenhagen.
