The check-in staff took a non business phone call while checking me in and it made the process longer plus she was abrupt and rude. She didnt tell me anything about the wifi, where my room was, the breakfast hours, or checkout time. When I asked for another key she huffed then shoved it at me. Also, no cookies and all the guest coffee and hot water urns had only dribbles left. This was at 6pm.
The room was okay, dated, and needing repairs, poor caulking, broken tiles, noisy tiny fridge, etc. There was hair on the bathroom floor, mold around the windows that I didn't notice until the next morning, the sink hadn't been wiped down and had toothpaste in it. Just lazy lack of attention to detail.
The worst part though was the two employees at the front desk making fun of their boss saying he came in drunk and fell down the stairs and they let him drive afterwards. The gossipy superiority of these two was insane. The elevator was so slow and they were so loud, I had to listen to the whole thing. It was terrible! I would be irate if I had employees like this.
Breakfast was okay, pretty good variety.
