Hotel Pura Chacala

We loved staying at Pura Chacala. The owner and property managers are very friendly and made our stay very easy and enjoyable. Would recommend this place and can’t wait to return.

This is a great spot to stay. The room was very comfortable with a good cross breeze and wonderful view. The rooftop patio is spacious and well planned. The walk to town and the beach was easy.

I paid for a 1-room apar**ent, which was the same price as the vista al mar studio. The studio is very tastefully done and has utensils in the kitchen and a small view to the sea. When I requested other cosmetics, I received them. No gustó · The hot water arrived after 5 minutes of waiting, and on the second day we realized that we had to do the cleaning ourselves (there was a broom to sweep in front of the door). I paid for a 1-room apar**ent, which was the same price as the vista al mar studio. I paid 1210 pesos per night, while the price on their website was 1000 pesos per night (so 210 pesos taxes per night). On the phone, Mr. Jerry said that there is no problem to change the room, the 1-room apar**ent and the sea view studio are at the same price, after which, when we arrived, his wife informed us that if we want the change, we have to pay another 150 pesos/night. I paid the 300 pesos for 2 nights, because my goal was to feel good and not to argue, but I think this is not a good business model to follow and I would be happy to receive the money back.

Our host was really friendly and helpful! He kindly picked us up with our bags and dropped us off at the bus when we left. The apar**ents are a great deal, basic but cute and comfortable. The hotel is small and has a nice intimate a**osphere. We didn’t have time to go up to the rooftop veranda but there is one and I bet it has a great view.

Very good enjoyed the pool in our short stay :)
