I had booked a King Suite, the hotel has a standard king, studio king and the king suite. The receptionist claims that the system showed a king and not a suite, so I tried to show her my reservation on my phone that clearly showed the suite and she said that doesn't matter, that is not how it is in the system. She said to call the booking company. I did and waited on hold for 25 minutes and they confirmed that it was the suite and on the three priced rooms it was the highest priced. She still would not give me the room that I paid for. She had also told me that the only rooms available were on the third floor, I had several heavy trade show bags to bring in and had to lug them up since the elevators were out of service. Later I passed through the lobby and she was giving out rooms on the second floor, so another twist. The icing on the cake was that she also put me next to the stair case, so I heard people banging their bags up the stairs until 11:30 at night and again going down starting at 6 am the next morning, since the elevators did not work.
Later I thought I might go into the hot tub, I went down to the pool area and the hot tub was all cloudy with a bit of green on the edges....so that was out too.
I have stayed in some rough places, but I have never scored a hotel this low. The service was terrible, the elevators didn't work, the hot tub was gross, I was happy to leave the next day.
