I recently stayed at the Best Western Colombo and had a mixed experience. The room was comfortable, and the lobby manager was very humble, but I faced a significant billing issue with room service. I ordered two brownies for dessert, listed at 850 LKR each on the menu and confirmed via phone. However, I was shocked to find I was charged 1540 LKR each instead. This unexpected charge doubled my total bill to 4156 LKR instead of the anticipated 2000 LKR. Initially, this experience made me want to give a 1-star review. However, the lobby manager's sincere efforts to apologize and explain the situation changed my mind to a 3-star review. Despite his efforts, the system issues prevented him from reversing the charge, and I ended up paying an unrealistic amount. While I appreciate the room comfort and the Lobby manager's dedication, this billing discrepancy has made me question whether I would choose this hotel again, even though I have chosen this location several times before. I hope management addresses such issues in the future.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The entire place was spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere was both comfortable and inviting. A special thanks to the lobby manager Mr.Dumith Nonis, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their warm and friendly service made me feel right at home. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming place to stay!

I am still very surprised how this is a 4 star hotel. There is only 1 lift. The hall carpets are dirty and stinks. We had to ask for a dustbin for the room. Bathroom slippers are not available. The balcony is off access and dangerous. The hand held shower is broken and doesn't work properly. The pressure and temperature keeps varying making showering very difficult. No vanity kit was provided. Only a small unlabeled bottle was there in the bathroom, which i assume to be the shower gel. No shampoo, no conditioner. The mini bar was locked. Our package included breakfast and dinner. The first day dinner was a great disappointment. They didn't even have a buffet, reason being if there are only less occupants they skip the buffet. The F&B manager then filled a plate with the food from the resto bar above and gave us. Dinner food was average. I suspect they kept the better stuff for patrons above and gave us the least moving items. Food was better from next mornin. But the food is not warm always, the bacon and sausages were cold and we had to ask them to reheat it. Overall a great disappointment. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city so you will need to get a ride to reach anywhere. Nothing is there in walkable distance.

Excellent hospitality from the check in to check out. The rooms are very clean & the food is great. Staff is friendly & polite. Specially Dimuth, who is the lobby manager, he is a very cheerful, pleasant guy who is ready to attend to your requirements. This will be one of the hotels that I can recommend for a meet up with your friends or for a gate a way your family.

My recent stay at the Best Western Colombo was a pleasant experience. The hotel offered clean, comfortable rooms and a convenient location. However, what truly set my stay apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Dumith, the lobby manager, was particularly outstanding. His friendly demeanor, helpful nature, and attention to detail made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay.

It was booked for a close family of ours and according to their feedback, it's been a wonderful experience in total and also the staff had been very helpful and friendly. Food had been great. We did meet a wonderful gentlemen by the Name of Dumith Noni's- The Lobby manager who was the main reason to choose this property as he was very professional and also made sure everything was done accordingly. Highly recommend this property and their services to everyone!

Top service from Lobby Manager Dumith Nonis as always. I had the opportunity to experience quality accommodation at the hotel during my two visits in 2024. Dumith was very welcoming and took care of everything. Keep up the good work and wishing Best Western Elyon all the success!
