The Dorint hotel is in a very central location with wonderful views of the cathedral. The staff were very professional (from pre-trip communication to check-in and check-out) and super friendly. The hotel is huge and has lifts to all floors. The room was large with ample furniture (larger bed than usual, built-in suitcase stand, full desk, armchair) and the decor a palimpsest of older furniture zhuzhed up with wall coverings, a decorative vase, floor lights in addition to bedside table lamps and desk light, etc. There was even a kettle to make tea and coffee, and a fridge, which was much appreciated! The bed was on the soft side and the pillows rather thin and fluffy, which was not quite to my liking. However, the blackout curtains and well-insulated windows made for a quiet night's sleep, despite the roads and building sites outside. It was still possible to open one window to let fresh air in. All in all, a very good experience.

Es wäre gut zu wissen, dass die Stadt Köln eine hohe Stadtgebühr zusätzlich zum Übernachtungspreis vorab an der Rezeption verlangt. Rechnung gibt es nur nach Abreise. Internet war überlastet und ging nicht, das Tablet im Zimmer nutzlos. Das Personal kann nur Standardsätze, wie” es tut mir leid”. Preis war unverschämt für die Leistung! Ein veraltertes 3 Sterne Hotel mit Minifernseher. Kaffee vom billigsten Tütenpulver. Handtücher sollten erneuert werden. Die sind hinüber! Trotz mehrmals wechseln lassen. Das nächste Mal übernachte ich in einen besseren Hotel und den horrenden Preisdifferenz gebe ich lieber dem Taxifahrer.

โรงแรมอยู่ใกล้กับสถานีรถไฟ แต่ค่อนข้างไกลจากตัวเมือง เราจองเตียงเดี่ยว แสดงว่าขนาดเตียงกว้าง 0.8m-1.3m อันที่จริงฉันคิดว่ามันเป็นเพียง 0.8m ซึ่งเล็กมาก เราเข้าใจว่าในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่วุ่นวาย (Anuga และ Marathon) ราคาสูง แต่ก็ไม่คุ้มกับเตียงเดี่ยวที่นี่
