Having tried unsuccessfully on two occasions to telephone Reception to ask them to set up a trundle bed as twin beds not available I arrived and , despite somewhat grumpy manager, the room was set up as needed by dividing the double bed. (One star lost for non smiling interaction and one star for online software booking issue where it states no twins are available for accessible rooms at the hotel). Apart from this, the hotel is clean and provides comfortable accommodation.The cleaning team were friendly and did a good job. I found the doors difficult to open to access with my mother in a wheelchair and I would think a solo travel in a wheelchair would have to ask for assistance. The parking and access from outside is good. Tabletable restaurant attached (and accessible from within hotel) was brilliant. The team - particularly Steve and Kathy - were courteous and friendly and the full English breakfast was good value. I would stay again and hope for a more welcoming Front of House.
