We booked this hotel many months before the wedding. I called a few times to ask specific questions as when booking online I neeeded to check a box for AC which concerned me. The receptionist was very nice explained that was a glitch and all rooms have air. I also gave her some requests for our one night stay. We didn’t want to be on top of the bar as many reviews said you can’t sleep it’s so loud. Again the receptionist said no worries. Our wedding was a daytime wedding at 11 am on the property. They said checkin time is at 4 if but they will hold our luggage and we can valet park. We can check in as early as 2 if any rooms are available but they can’t guarantee that. However, all rooms are ready for check in at 4. This is NOT true. When the wedding was over around 4 ish we made our way to the lobby to check in and stood in line for about a half an hour. Then when we reached the counter we were told our name had been added to the que. WHAT? Check in time is at 4? Yes, our rooms are not ready we are very busy. We didn’t get a room until after 5. We missed our dinner reservations as well since we needed to get in the room to shower and get ready - we were in wedding attire. Also note, they tried to give us a room on the second floor over the bar after requesting not to be over the bar. This was at 4:50. We asked to speak with a manager. The manager found us rooms on the 4th floor but made sure to say that we could have come as early as 2 to check in. I was there at 10:45 am, gave you my luggage, valet parked and asked to check in and you told me come back after the wedding. Check in is at 4 with an early check in at 2 if rooms are ready. So I went to enjoy the wedding. Had I known there would be a que and a line and angry people I would have slipped out of the wedding to do a checkin at 2pm. But they don’t tell you this. They don’t say you will be put into a que. this was ridiculous. The supervisor and manger were not sympathetic and would not take any responsibility. Fast forward - we woke in the am to no water. Toilets didn’t work, showers, or sinks. When we called they said the best they could do was give us a late check out but they had no idea when the problem would be fixed. We slept in the bed and that was all we did. We left unshowered headed to our next event. We spent money on dinner in their hotel because they caused us to miss our dinner reservations. And we spent money in their lobby on drinks waiting for a our room. When we asked if they could comp us for our inconvenience - they said no. I called my credit card company. I couldn’t dispute the charge because I spent the night. No water, no available room doesn’t matter. This hotel knows this and that is why they take no responsibility. The credit card company said normally the hotel comps the customer for their inconvenience but this was not the case with this hotel. It’s family owned. It’s not a chain. Sadly, this happened to us after our wedding was over. However, there were people
We were notified via the Bonvoy app our room was ready so we went to check-in right at 4:00pm but were told by an unfriendly/unwelcoming (no greeting was offered) front desk representative that the room was not ready. No time frame was given for when the room would be available and the representative was clearly annoyed when I asked for an estimated time. When she checked the computer to answer my question, all of a sudden a room was available so I really don't understand what changed with asking for a timeframe. As soon as we entered the room we secured the door with the bolt and safety latch which was a blessing because 10 minutes after our arrival a male employee (he had on what appeared to be a housekeeping uniform or some other type of uniform, perhaps maintenance?) attempted to enter our room. My husband went to answer the door but by the time he got to the hallway, the male employee was all the way down the hallway and was walking pretty quickly away from our room as if he was trying to get away so as not to be recognized. This made us feel really uncomfortable during our entire stay, especially when we left the room to go to a planned event so we took anything of value with us but still worried the whole time we were way that he would enter our room when we weren't there or could possibly be in the room when we came back. The room wasn't the cleanest which was also a huge disappointment. There was a dirty stain on the bedsheet and a fecal stain in the toilet (see the pictures) and of course lots of hair in the shower from the prior guests. If we weren't in a hurry to get to our event, we would have requested a different room. Lastly, the money grab of charging for parking was ridiculous considering how much we paid for the room and considering how plentiful the parking was. The room and hotel could have potential to be decent but we aren't willing to give this disappointing Marriot a 2nd chance when safety and cleanliness aren't guaranteed.
I had the worst experience ever staying at this hotel. The two-star rating should be downgraded to one star due to the poor treatment of guests and the terrible conditions of the rooms. Unfortunately, I would never choose to stay here myself, but as a wedding vendor, I had no choice but to stay here for an event. I was assured of a late check-out for my stay, but the service I received was appalling. At 12 PM, I was harassed for leaving the room, even though the parking lot was empty, clearly indicating low occupancy. It felt more like a hotel that caters to short stays. Despite informing the front desk that I would leave, within five minutes, a cleaning lady knocked on the door. Shortly after, a rude maintenance man appeared, demanding I vacate the room immediately. To make matters worse, the non-smoking room I was given reeked of cigarette smoke, and the walls were paper thin—you could hear every noise from the surrounding rooms. Being treated like a squatter at a place you’re paying to stay, along with dealing with such poor room conditions, is horrendous and unacceptable. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
We are in the hotel right now. Checking out soon. We do not have one negative thing to say about this property. It is so clean and modern! Beautifully maintained. We are in a Jacuzzi Room. Enjoyed the experience of JACUZZI-JETTED tub. Property is very well-maintained. WAWA is at Right across the hotel, WALMART is just near about 3 mins walk and Dunkin donuts is about 2 mins Walk.
This was my first time staying in a Studio 6 (or a Motel 6 for that matter). I guess this is the extended stay version of a Motel 6 as it shared a parking lot. We only stayed for one night. Check-in was easy although I did have to ask how to get to the room, as it was late and I checked in via a side-lobby. Being an extended stay studio, the room was quite large, and therefore quite comfortable for three. My only complaint would be the beds. Double beds are always kind of tight, and the mattress was not firm enough for my liking. Based on this say however, I would return and also consider other Studio 6 or Motel 6 in the future.
