HOUSE RULES
As a host, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our assignment is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our cozy home. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you can follow these house rules and confirm that this has been reviewed within 24 hours of your booking. Thank you in advance and truly appreciate your cooperation!
PETS/SERVICE ANIMALS: Our property is pet friendly (limit 2), but please make sure you follow the rules mentioned below:
NO CATS. This is a hazard as future guests could have allergy issues.
No constant barking nor disturbances is allowed. We do not want anyone disturbed at any time. We assume the pet is well behaved and will be trained to be quiet.
Non-aggressive breeds, no history of aggression, 50lb limit and $100 per animal per stay dog fee (non-refundable).
Pets and service animals must be supervised when in the backyard, not be left unattended at any time.
Pets and service animals should have a collar, harness, or microchip with identifying owner information attached should it become lost and must be crated or kenneled when left alone to avoid accidents.
Please avoid any pet mess inside the house and outside as well. Guests are required to remove all traces of an animal being present at the property. Please pick up their waste and dispose of it accordingly and bring a cover for our couches and chairs, if pets sit on them. Always have mattress protectors on beds regardless. Any damage caused by an animal must be repaired or reported to us and will be charged back to you.
You will need to disclose to us if you will be bringing a pet to the property. Please let us know your pet's breed, how many as well as weight at the time of booking.
ISSUES DURING STAY: So we can maintain a high standard throughout your stay and to help us address any concerns quickly and ensure the best experience possible, we kindly ask that any issues be reported during the guest’s stay. Any issues reported after stay can't be taken into consideration, as we won’t have the opportunity to assess or address them in real time.
TRASH DISPOSAL: All household trash must be disposed of in the black or brown bins only. Failure to do so will result in a $50 penalty. Blue bins are strictly for RECYCLING only.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: It will be returned after no damage is found. We may also charge an additional cleaning and damage fee if the repair and replacement is more than the said deposit amount.
FURNITURE: Please do not re-arrange our furniture. We expect the accommodation is returned to us in the condition presented on arrival. Breakages or damages not caused by normal wear and tear (animal damage does not constitute normal wear and tear) will be charged to you.
We kindly ask that you avoid moving or turning the pool table, as it may cause damage. A $100 fee will apply if it is repositioned.
SECURITY CAMERA: Any tampering with or covering of cameras compromises the security of the property, and if they are altered in any way, it may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without a refund.
EXTRA GUEST FEE: Our nightly rate includes the first 6 guests. With each additional guest (kids over 2 as well), a $25/night fee will be applied.
NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS ALLOWED: We require that all guests must be declared, regardless of whether they are staying or just visiting. Staying guests must be registered and acknowledged. Failure to register or declare any guests will result in a penalty of $25 per guest, per day.
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT: Early Check-In: We charge $25 per hour for early check-ins. Late Check-Out: We do our best to accommodate special requests. For late check-outs requested until 8 PM the day before check-out, a fee of $25 per hour will be charged. Any requests made after 8 PM the day before check-out, up to an hour before check-out, will incur a fee of $15 for every 15 minutes.
NO PARKING ON THE LAWN: Kindly avoid parking on the lawn, as it’s not permitted to help keep the property in great condition.
NO RVs ALLOWED: Please note that RVs, trailers, and oversized vehicles are not allowed on the driveway or along the street.
EATING OR DRINKING: No eating or drinking in the bedrooms.
SMOKING: There is no smoking of any kind inside the house. There will be a $150.00 smoking fee charged for smoking in the house.
DRUGS: If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and guests will be asked to vacate the property and immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.
PARTIES: Not allowed. If guests are found to have had a party which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, guests will be asked to vacate the property and immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.
QUIET HOURS: Please keep the noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
TOWELS & LINENS: We kindly ask that you help us maintain the quality of our linens and towels by using them with care. Please avoid staining them with makeup, hair dye, tanning products, wine, or food spills. For makeup removal, we recommend using personal wipes or designated products instead of towels. Towels are intended for drying off after showers and should not be used for cleaning spills, wiping floors, or as rags. To ensure all guests enjoy fresh and well-maintained linens, excessive staining or damage may result in a replacement fee.
ALTERATION REQUEST POLICY: Guests must inform us of any alteration requests (shortening stay & decreasing guest count) at least one week before check-in. Regrettably, we will be unable to accommodate late requests. In such cases, we can provide a refund amounting to only 50% of the original refund amount.
LONGTERM STAYS: For stays of 30 days or more, bi-weekly cleaning is required to keep the property clean and well-maintained. Cleaning schedules will be arranged in advance, and the cost will be $230/cleaning.
OTHER: Charging electric vehicles using the property’s outlets is not allowed.
Please do not re-arrange our furniture. We expect the accommodation is returned to us in the condition presented on arrival. Breakages or damages not caused by normal wear and tear (animal damage does not constitute normal wear and tear) will be charged to you.

Welcome to the Blue Humming Bird, a beautifully renovated home in North Columbus that offers a spacious 2200 sqft living space with a contemporary and rustic design. Located in North Columbus, the Blue Humming Bird offers an expansive escape close to the Chattahoochee River's white-water rafting and Fort Moore's grandeur. With plush bedrooms, a chef's kitchen, and an engaging game room, plus a sprawling backyard with BBQ and hot tub, it's perfect for adventurers and families alike. Situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac, our haven blends serene relaxation with easy access to Columbus's vibrant outdoor and cultural activities, ensuring a stay rich in memories.
This 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom home has a large living room, game room with a Pacman arcade, ice hockey table, ping pong table, and a kid's playground.
The open kitchen on the main floor has upgrades including stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and custom cabinetry with an in-unit washer and dryer. The master suite features an ensuite walk in closet with storage closet attached, and a built-in-desk. Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms with one having a walk-in closet and full guest bathroom in the hallway.
We have a private backyard, a large screened-in back porch, and covered front porch outside.

We assume the pet is well behave and will be trained to be quiet. ✤ Non-aggressive breeds, no history of aggression, 50lb limit and $100 PER ANIMAL PER STAY DOG FEE (NON-REFUNDABLE). This only applies to reservations that do not last a maximum of one week. If your stay exceeds one week, the pet fee will be $100 per pet per week (non-refundable). ✤ Pets and service animals must be supervised when in the backyard, not be left unattended at any time ✤ Pets and service animals should have a collar, harness, or microchip with identifying owner information attached should it become lost and must be crated or kenneled when left alone to avoid accidents. ✤ Please avoid any pet mess inside the house and outside as well. Guests are required to remove ALL TRACES of an animal being present at the property. Please pick-up their waste and dispose of it accordingly and bring a cover for our couches and chairs, if pets sit on them. Always have mattress protectors on beds regardless. Any damage caused by an animal must be repaired or reported to us and will be charged back to you. ✤ You will need to disclose to us if you will be bringing a pet to the property. Please let us know your pet's breed, how many as well as weight at the time of booking.
ISSUES DURING STAY: ✤ So we can maintain a high standard throughout your stay and to help us address any concerns quickly and ensure the best experience possible, we kindly ask that any issues be reported during the guest’s stay. Any issues reported after stay can't be taken into consideration, as we won’t have the opportunity to assess or address them in real time.
TRASH DISPOSAL: ✤ All household trash must be disposed of in the black or brown bins only. Failure to do so will result in a $50 penalty. Blue bins are strictly for RECYCLING only.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: ✤ It will be returned after no damage is found. We may also charge an additional cleaning and damage fee if the repair and replacement is more than the said deposit amount.
NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS ALLOWED: ✤ We require that all guests must be declared, regardless of whether they are staying or just visiting. Staying guests must be registered and acknowledged. Failure to register or declare any guests will result in a penalty of $30 per guest, per day.
SECURITY CAMERA: ✤ Any tampering with or covering of cameras compromises the security of the property, and if they are altered in any way, it may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without a refund.
EXTRA GUEST FEE: ✤ We have extra guest fee of $30/guests/night after 6 guests
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT: Early Check-In: We charge $25 per hour for early check-ins. Late Check-Out: We do our best to accommodate special requests. For late check-outs requested until 8 PM the day before check-out, a fee of $25 per hour will be charged. Any requests made after 8 PM the day before check-out, up to an hour before check-out, will incur a fee of $15 for every 15 minutes.
NO PARKING ON THE LAWN: ✤ Kindly avoid parking on the lawn, as it’s not permitted to help keep the property in great condition.
NO RVs ALLOWED: ✤ Please note that RVs, trailers, and oversized vehicles are not allowed on the driveway or along the street to ensure a smooth experience for everyone in the neighborhood.
SUPPLIES: ✦ We offer a starter pack of supplies. Guests staying for an extended period or with more people will need to purchase additional supplies for the remaining days.
EATING OR DRINKING: ✤ No eating or drinking in the bedrooms.
SMOKING: ✤ There is NO SMOKING of any kind inside the house. There will be a $150.00 smoking fee charged for smoking in the house.
DRUGS: ✤ If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY AND IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION WITHOUT REFUND!
PARTIES: ✤ NOT ALLOWED and If guests are found to have had a party which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY AND IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION WITHOUT REFUND!
QUIET HOURS: ✤ Please keep the noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
ALTERATION REQUEST POLICY: ✤Guests must inform us of any alteration requests (shortening stay & decreasing guest count) at least one week before check-in. Regrettably, we will be unable to accommodate late requests. In such cases, we can provide a refund amounting to only 50% of the original refund amount.
OTHER: ✤ Charging electric vehicles using the property’s outlets is not allowed. ✤ Please do not re-arrange our furniture. We expect the accommodation is returned to us in the condition presented on arrival. Breakages or damages not caused by normal wear and tear (animal damage does not constitute normal wear and tear) will be charged to you. - Please refrain from using glitter, confetti, slime, or Play-Doh in the property to maintain cleanliness and comfort. - Do not dye your hair or remove nail polish inside the home to prevent staining and damage to surfaces.
