Location not bad, close to places around hotel zone. Food was ok, nothing special though, breakfast was better than dinner. People nice, willing to assist. Parking helps a lot. Room very humid, clothes were kind of smelling after one day from all the moisture.
The window has no view, looking at some wall or sth. Really I don’t know how someone gets a good room when they book-is it magic needed?
Amazing hospitality :) and I had the most delicious ceviche and pina colada from the snack bar. I’m sorry the pina colada is so dangerous it just tastes like a smoothie but it hits you immediately after!
My partner and I stayed at Sina Suites for a week. Overall it was a good experience for the price we paid. - Room: The suite had a living room with a couch and small round table, a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom, and a balcony. The AC was in the bedroom, and since the main door was uneven, the living room and kitchen area was always significantly warmer than the bedroom. - Kitchen: The kitchen had a sink, fridge / freezer, microwave, and silverware. It came with a few plates, 3 forks, knives and spoons, and 2 mugs. We bought a few groceries and used the dishes the first night we were here. They ask you to wash the dishes yourself after each use. The soap they provided for the dishes looked weird to us, and we procrastinated cleaning them until one of the house cleaning ladies did it for us. We made sure to tip her well for that. Not having a stovetop made cooking food a little difficult. We ended up eating breakfast at the restaurant every day which started to add up. - Bathroom: The bathroom was a decent size. We have a large vanity at home so it took some getting used to a regular sized sink. The shower was a large standing shower and worked fine. The only issue I had with the bathroom is that there were ants all over the vanity. They were so tiny it was hard to see them at first, but whenever I killed 5 or 6 one day there'd be just as many the next day. They were so annoying. Sometimes they'd climb up my toothbrush and other personal items. I got used to inspecting everything before each use. I could've kept my toiletries outside the bathroom but I chose to just deal with the ants for a week. - Bed: The bedroom was spacious. We had a room with 2 full sized beds, a night stand, 2 closets, 2 chairs and a small table, as well as a dresser. The AC worked well in the bedroom and we kept it on 24/7. The cleaning lady came every day to make our beds and give us new towels. The room also had a balcony with two chairs and a small ottoman. This balcony had a view of the pool and the water where people parked their boats. I loved the balcony; it was a nice place to sit, people watch, and enjoy the warm weather. There was a TV in the bedroom. We tried using Netflix but it kept saying it wasn't connected to the internet. On that note the wifi wasn't always reliable. Sometimes our phones would randomly disconnect. Nine out of ten times the TV in our room couldn't connect, but for the most part it worked fine.
This hotel was unbelievable good value. We stayed here for a night en route to Isle Mujeres. Lively small hotel with tropical garden and small Pool. A great introduction to tropical Mexico coming from a cold and wet Ireland. The young man in reception was so nice and spoke some English. So after a quick check in we went to our room to drop the bags as it was around 9pm and we meeded to eat. We went across the road to a lovely outdoor pizzeria and had a delicious pizza. Again staff there were so friendly. Came back to bed. The room had two double beds for 4 of us and it was grand. Hot showers, clean room and comfy beds. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We thought it would be a continental Breakfast but we had a proper Mexican breakfast. We left that morning but could have stayed a few more days as it was so nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel . There were kids enjoying the pool as we left. The pool area is shaded as are the grounds so it’s like an oasis in the city.
RRavneetinder Singh ShergillFantastic property in terms of commons areas. The rooms are pretty outdated and have an adjoining room which feels very unsafe. The pool and beach and breakfast is very good. If I was to give rating in terms of rooms no more than 3 star common areas are a 5 out of 5.
