The hotel is in a great location. The staff majority seem so miserable never been to a hotel like it. They stuggle to smile sure they would rather not be here. The old bloke who works in the restaurant omg how miserable is he. The hallways to the room well the carpets are disgusting. Not one good morning in the restaurant. I will never book here again horrible staff. Rooms need updated as does the gym.

Returned to the Ivi Mare after having an amazing time last year and we were certainly not disappointed. Once again the hotel ticked all the boxes for the perfect holiday for us. My wife started the holiday with a three hour spar treatment with the excellent Mary. The room was again very clean and aircon was perfect. Meals were of a very high quality with a different theme each night on a seven day rotation. We also had a meal in the Greek themed restaurant which was also very good. Entertainment is very low key and perfect for us. The real stars are the staff, from a highly visible management team, through to the superb restaurant staff, Bar staff, Reception staff, cleaners, pool staff all of whom greet you with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. My only slight criticism is the vaping and smoking around the pool by some of the less considerate guests. The Lifeguard did stop it when he saw it but by the end quite a few were doing it and it is not pleasant if you don't indulge. Clearer signage around the pool pointing out that it is not allowed and directing them to the smoking area would be beneficial for the majority around the pool who don't wish to breathe the smoke in. In summary if you are someone who likes to get legless, throw footballs around the pool, require constant entertainment and thumping music, Bingo and Quizzes then This is not the hotel for you. If however you want to relax, enjoy excellent service, first class food with wonderful staff then you will be hard pressed to find somewhere better.
