The hotel was better than I expected. I booked it 30 min before arriving. I was early but was able to check in earlier than stated. I requested a double room ( solo traveller) and was give a spacious, clean room with plenty of natural light. Although basic and in need of modernisation I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was also great value for money. Location was perfect. Just off a busy road so ideal as a mid stop from motorway towards Oxfordshire/Cotswolds etc. I had their set lunch menu which was delicious. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so ate in their lovely courtyard garden. It was beautiful. I had no objection from staff for eating outside instead of their restaurant. In fact all the staff were pleasant and helpful. I took a walk around the area. It was safe and had wonderful views. Breakfast was great. Cooked full English ,pastries, fruit, juices etc.. Definitely worth staying. It has charm and surrounded by fields and a good countryside vibe.

Usually a good place to stay. But last night I was kept up until after 11pm due to a loud repetitive banging noise. I rang at 10.30pm and was told they’d investigate. They said it was the pipe cleaning from the bar. And said it would be over in 10mins. It was another 35minutes until finished. I get up at 5.30am so was trying to sleep. It was really poor.

Staff pleasant on arrival, at the bar and during check out. Room was large and modern, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

I booked this hotel so that I could get an early check in as a VIP member, after a long flight from the US. I arrived 2 hours early and was told that the room was available, but I would have to pay if I wanted to check in an earlier. I did not receive any of the VIP ******* benefits and had to put up with a very rude receptionist called Hadia in the evening who kept talking over me. I called the reception and was in my pajamas but she told me I needed to go down to see her so I had to change to go down to talk to her. She then continued to talk over me very rudely telling me that I did not get the benefits because I did not ask for them at check in and that now I was not going to get them because I had a bad attitude. The new junior receptionist, Lily Anne should be better trained and understand the ******* VIP benefits.

Arrived at the hotel on a Saturday night and was told there was a function and that it may be noisy ib the room but wohld stop at midnight, we could stay in the bar if too noisy! It was very noisy in the room and really shoyld be advised when booking and offerres a discount if choosing to stay, we would not have stayed, this was the underlying problem and spoilt the whole stay, not impressed

Travelled as a family of 3 and the hotel really accomodated us- even getting milk for my son at 6am. I wish we'd been given a sheet for his travel cot- he probably would have slept better if there was a sheet on the cot. But other than that, we had a lovely stay.

Really lovely hotel. Great parking and very comfortable and cosy inside. I have a lovely room with a balcony overlooking a courtyard which would have been lovely in summer. It was December for me but there were twinkly lights and trees lit up so very pretty. I would stay again.

Fantastic stay. The food was exceptional. I have stayed in quite a few hotels recently for work and this has been the best.

Faultless stay. Room was amazing and staff friendly. Great location for exploring the Cotswolds

Staff were very friendly and helpful . Room was a great surprise we have never had a family room with 2 bedrooms Evening meal was excellent well presented and high standard. Cocktails were amazing .
