It would be a lovely guest perk if the hotel could waive or provide a discount on the parking fee for staying guests, simplifying the arrival experience haha"
"We, an elderly couple stayed for 2 nights in Muo Boutique Hotel in Muar in a Superior Tatami Twin Room (only 2 mattresses, no bed) have window with Japanese style decor. Do note that there are other rooms that come with beds too. We use the lift to go to our unit on the 3rd floor. There is a rooftop garden with table, chairs for relaxing & overlooking the Muar River. Although the size is only 15 sq m, the whole unit can accommodate us & our 1 luggage. It's a unique experience as it is our first time staying here. The reception & staff are very friendly."
"The hotel is a walking distance to so many famous and viral food outlets. We went to the nearest shopping mall, Wetex by foot. We went to so many cafés nearby by foot, too. We enjoyed staying here as Speedmart99 is very near. There's a cafe downstairs. There are also a few kopitiams opposite the hotel and also nearby. The parking space is safe. Definitely will stay here again as it is very convenient and affordable."
"Good service. The counter staff quickly explained that the lift breakdown and assured that the technician is trying their best to repair it. Phew! Lift is working on Monday morning.
Hotel provides bottled water and have filtered water dispenser.
Near bus terminal and you can walk to nice Dim sum breakfast, 434 coffee place, famous food street for lunch and Baker's cottage, etc. Will stay again if visit Muar next time."
"I recently stayed at Classic Hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel lives up to its name with a more traditional style, offering a simple yet comfortable environment.
Location:
The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transport options. It’s suitable whether you’re traveling for business or leisure.
Rooms:
The rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. While the decor feels a bit dated, everything is well-maintained. The bed is comfortable, and basic amenities are provided.
Service:
Staff are friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled promptly.
Facilities:
Facilities are fairly standard. Don’t expect luxury features, but the essentials are there. Wi-Fi is available, though the speed can vary.
Overall:
Classic Hotel is a good choice if you’re looking for an affordable, no-frills stay with decent comfort and service. It may not be modern or luxurious, but it delivers solid value for the price."
"Upon arrival, the reception desk Mr. Tan was polite and welcoming. Explained to us the food places in Muar with an informative map. Car parking is ample and secured. Had our late lunch at a specialty cendol & nasi lemak shop in the vicinity."
"Hidden gem in the center if Muar. Entrance is via a small road off the main street but signage is clear. Rooms are very small but ok for a short stay. Bathroom adequate size. Surroundings tranquil and relaxing. Lovely cafe on the premises. There is also a restaurant serving Malaysian and western food but did not try. We chose to stay here as they had EV chargers which are difficult to find in Muar. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel at a great price. Recommended."
"Tried a capsule for the first time. It was such an interesting and cool experience. Once I stepped into the capsule, felt so futuristic, like we're already in the flying-cars era great for a single night but for long stay, better stay in a proper room/hotel."
