The pool was freezing cold, for a heated pool.
The kids got chemical burn.
The kids weren’t allowed to have any fun.

I stayed here because of a storm. Rooms are nice. The pool is good and it is a good location. It was a nice refuge not an “it will do” situation.

The remote for the TV did not have a workable volume button, so we had to put up with loud. Otherwise, all good!

Hot tub wasn't working. This is a pretty big deal to me since the pool/ hot tub was one of the reasons we booked this hotel, especially for a hockey tournament. Please disclose this information to your customers. One of the people in my group specifically asked at the front desk the day we checked in asking if the pool and hot tub were working. (He hadn't prebooked) and the employee said they were working. Not impressed.

The maid service did not refill coffee on any of the 3 nights, shampoo and conditioner kept falling off the shower wall into the tub in the middle of the night, breakfast has limited options.

The breakfast was a bit iffy, everything else was good. It would have been quiet if the people in the room next to us didn't come in like they were in a frat house yelling and banging, then trying to enter our room through the adjoining door, but that's not the hotel, that was just inconsiderate patrons. The egg like product, and those sausage shaped things were pretty rough on the guts though. Many bathrooms were victimized.
