The building is a beautiful place. The staff are nice and polite but they lack some training, not too professional.
Room service was a long wait and then twice the CC terminal which they use to charge you was not working, the waitress waited inside my room for more than 1/2 hr, my food was getting cold, I was in my pjs, I asked him if I he could charge it to my room, he said he couldn’t, front desk asked me to come downstairs (9:45 pm) to pay.
I asked at the front desk for a shower cap, the employee working the Night Shift (7/17) told me he could not find any but would send one to my room, 1/2 later I called from my room and he told me he was told there were none. I asked him why he didn’t call to tell me that instead of waiting for me to call, he stood quiet.
The pool looked dirty, I had been at this hotel 3 times already on prior years and the water was crystal clear then and you could see/feel the filters working inside the pool. They weren’t this time and water level was low, pump was definitely off.
It is a shame that such prestigious hotel chain with the rates they charge make ones stay very uncomfortable
