We had a wonderful time at the Park Hotel. The hotel's interior - particularly the lobby and the restaurant - are so well designed, very modern and quirky with lots of personality. The location is great with excellent transport links (boat, bus, train) - we got the ferry across to Sirmione and Garda (both beautiful), the bus to Peschiera and the train to Verona. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us with travel queries a few times - we felt very welcome at the hotel. Breakfast is great with lots of choice - we also had a cute packed breakfast on our last day as we had to leave early for the airport, which was a lovely touch! The hotel served afternoon tea for an hour in the afternoon which was a nice indulgence. The roof terrace is an added bonus and we spent a couple of hours relaxing up there. Our room was small but functional and the balcony area was a nice-to-have; the decor perhaps felt a little bland compared to the rest of the hotel (the bathroom on the other hand was lovely), but it was absolutely spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. Desenzano has a huge choice of restaurants and bars, and is a great base to explore other areas around the lake. We would definitely stay there again, but probably book direct (this time we went with Tui) so we have more choice of rooms. Thank you Park Hotel team!

Had a lovely 3 night stay in a junior suite. Our friends stayed in a standard deluxe room and I would recommend those over the suite. They had larger bedrooms and bathroom and we didn’t think the suite offered much over and above. Also our water pressure was dreadful, really bad, theirs wasn’t. Room lacks any coffee/tea facilities and that was missed. Staff were wonderful, breakfast was great with beautiful views over the lake. Location is brilliant. Pool on top area was wonderful, never an issue getting space, bar was hit and mis sometimes just not open and no food served up there. Would highly recommend and would return.

Beautiful hotel with attentive and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable and extremely well kept. This theme was evident throughout the hotel. The pool looked lovely but we did not use it as we spent all our time exploring the local area. Central location for boat trips and the town. Railway station is walking distance too.

The hotel is positioned in a nice spot over-looking the Lake and close the terminal for the ferry to take you around the Lake. There were a number of bars and restaurants in close proximity, albeit we found the general standard of the food quite toursity and a bit dis-appointing for Italy. Back to the hotel, the reception area is welcoming and very nicely decorated with the staff quite engaging. The rooftop pool is quite small and I'd imagine very difficult to find a space up there in peak season. Rooms are furnished just ok and the TV's were about 15inches in size and looked like they dated back to the 80's, most definately not what you would expect from a 4/5 star establishment. Our stay was affected badly by a lack of air-conditioning. It was the first warm weeked of the year with temperatures climbing to 24 degrees. Whilst to hotel don't advise you of this in advance, apparently there is a local restriction on the use of air-conditioning in hotels from October to May for climate change reasons. Our family room was located on the third floor which over-looked the busy street below which meant opening windows gave rise to a lot of noise late into the night from nearby bars until at least 1 am, or a very early wake up from the street cleaners at 6am disrupting sleep. Whilst we asked to move to a room at the front of the hotel over-looking the entrance which would have been much quieter the hotel was apparently full due to a cycling event taking place over the weekend. Ultimately our stay and this review was significantly affected by this situation, so is very much one to be aware of when considering booking for future guests.

Fantastic hotel, perfectly located with gusty and style - facing the lake and in the old town. Friendly and informed staff - always ready to help- very clean and spacious rooms-comfortable beds. Great interior design, smart yet interesting with lots of attention to detail including some cool art & furniture - - all befitting a fantastic boutique hotel perfectly located for exploring Lake Garda and enjoying fantastic shops and restaurants of Desenzano - much more authentic than the more tourist villages in the area.

Great hotel in a lovely location looking out onto lake Garda. Easy to reach with a car and parking provided. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots to see and do around Garda. Rail links to Verona, Milan and Venice if you want to venture further afield, although there are many nice towns scattered around the lake worth a visit. There are ferry and bus links to all of these, we took our car so used that to visit some of the towns, driving around the lake is straightforwards.

We had such a good experience at this hotel that we came back 5 days later and stayed another 3 nights. The entire staff from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping go above and beyond. Special shout out to Boni. He could not have been more helpful throughout our stays. The rooms and common areas are spotless and comfortable. The breakfast is versatile and delicious. The location is central with all amenities easily walkable. The views of the lake with the snow topped Alps on the distant shores spectacular. Reserve a room with a view if available, you’ll be glad you did.

Amazing view from the room balcony onto the lake. Great location for bars and restaurants. High quality in-house restaurant too.
