Gorgeous French farmhouse that has been lovingly restored to provide a welcoming and relaxing a**osphere. Every space in this house has been meticulously curated and the aesthetics are a treat for the senses. The entire house smells delightful! All of the products in the room are locally sourced and there are special touches like pure French linen sheets. It is so quiet at night here and I think I got the best nights sleep I’ve had in months. Our room and bathroom were large and comfortable. Breakfast was simple and perfect, fresh bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt and fresh squeezed orange juice. The entire property is fenced and gated with a wonderfully maintained lawn; perfect for us as we brought our two dogs with us who were very welcomed. Sylvie and Christian were wonderful hosts, attentive and personable without being overbearing. The pool area looks amazing, being March and only here for one night we didn’t have the chance to try it. The local town is small but has everything you need and the people here are very friendly. All in all a highly recommended stay and provided perfect respite on our drive from London to the Algarve!

It was our second day of a planned 3 day drive home to the UK when our car broke down on the motorway. We were dropped off in the French countryside in the heat with no plans of where to go and with all of our things from our car and our dog. We walked for a while and came across Bel Air. Christophe and Sylvie welcomed us in, seeing that we had clearly had a very bad day. They got us a beautiful room and fixed it up very quickly and while we were waiting they provided water and helped us with our bags. Christophe translated for us and helped us find somewhere that would fix our car then helped us get to where we needed to go. For the rest of our stay we experienced the lovely pool, breakfast and beautiful charcuterie platters. Christophe and Sylvie were incredibly kind and accommodating and they helped turn a horrible situation into a lovely weekend stay. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and happy during your stay. We couldn’t have asked for anything more they went absolutely above and beyond. If I could give them more stars I would! Thank you very much from all three of us!

A wonderful stay with delightful hosts. We were welcomed into their beautiful and stylish country house and treated as guests of honour every moment of our five days. Breakfast was an experience we would love to relive every day (five local honeys!) and the evening platter in the sumptuous pool house was perfect. We cycled, walked and dined around Castets but the best bit was returning to Bel Air Maison which we hope to do again sometime… Thank you for being such generous hosts Sylvie & Christophe and sharing your beautiful home with us. Welcomed like long lost friends as it’s our 3rd visit here. Such a beautiful house and the attention to detail is unbelievable. This time we walked to a lovely local restaurant only 5 minutes away. We love it’s proximity to the motorway on our way to Spain and yet it’s just so peaceful set amongst the trees. No swimming in the outdoor heated pool this time, cosy in front of the open fire instead. Sylvie and Christophe both speak perfect English and are patient with my attempts to speak French. On our way to Spain and have stopped here both times, what an amazing place. The outside area is gorgeous including heated swimming pool, we ate their platter of delicious locally sourced food in comfy armchairs surrounded by birdsong, mature garden and tasteful decor. The hosts , Sylvie and Christophe speak Spanish, English and French so no problem communicating with them. Nothing too much trouble and the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful. Clearly a lot of time is spent keeping the standard so high. The place is immaculate and we love it. Thanks so much 😊.

Our expectations of this charming house were surpassed in all respects. The hosts, Sylvie and Christophe could not have been more helpful, welcoming and attentive during our stay. The photographs do not do justice to this truly amazing house with its beautiful internal decor, cosy bedrooms with fresh linen bedding and modern bathrooms - all impeccably clean and airy. Sylvie’s catering could not be faulted with delightful breakfasts showcasing local fresh produce and pastries together with the copious cheese and charcuterie planchas which can be taken either in the salon or outside overlooking the pool and garden. If you are looking to explore this oft undiscovered corner of France - stay here and you will not be disappointed!

Een Fantastisch plek !!! Absoluut aanrader . Heel vriendelijk eigenaren met een prachtig huis . Alles was super netjes en fantastisch ingericht . Echt gaan als je in de buurt bent ! De ontbijt was werkelijk geweldig !

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour chez Sylvie et Christophe qui nous ont offert un accueil chaleureux et des plus sympathiques dans leur magnifique maison. Nous avons profité de leur superbe jardin avec un espace piscine et patio offrant confort, sérénité et repos. L'intérieur est aussi superbe, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et de soin. Une maison qu'on ne peut qu'aimer, située à 20 min de magnifiques plages quasi désertes fin juillet atteignable aussi par les pistes cyclables nombreuses dans la région. Cette chambre d'hôtes correspond à notre idéal de vacances sur l'Atlantique. PS: Nous recommandons la planche de Sylvie accompagnée de la selection de vins de Christophe, le tout dégusté sous le patio au bord de la piscine🤩
