Exploring Norfolk really requires a car, so the fact that The Ridge is a short drive from town didn't worry us. Phil kindly met us at the airport and arranged our car hire. The apar**ent was a clean and very tastefully decorated, with just a hint of its 1980's heritage visible in the small renovated bathroom, and kitchen. Bedding was soft and linen tasteful. Included fast wifi, but the small TV didn't support apps or streaming - possible on your own tablet. No aircon, but fans and fly screening meant a comfortable breezy stay. A shared pavilion with BBQ was in the common area. Our apar**ent had a relaxed view out over the hills and towards the ocean. We enjoyed the relaxed vibe.

Four of us stayed in No5 the Ridge for 5 nights. Everything was as expected, great having both bedrooms with en-suites for 2 couples. Phil met us at the airport and guided us back to the Ridge then explained everything, even supplying a mobile to make life easier should we need to book things or contact him. The views from the deck were fantastic. We loved the Island and saw everything there was to see. Would thoroughly recommend the Ridge

Thank you Tenelle & Phil for making us feel welcome & wonderfully comfortable at your beautiful accommodation The Ridge. Our One bedroom apar**ent overlooking the ocean certainly lived up to our expectations….. great position, very tastefully refurbished, super comfy bed and lovely little personal touches to give the space a ‘special’ feel. You guys help make Norfolk Island the special place it is …. Thanks again

Absolutely thrilled with our 1 bedroom Ocean View apar**ent. The views were amaxing and so was the comfy large bed & the modern decor. It was so convenient being just a 5 minute drive into town. Phil the Owner met us at the airport on arrival which was nice and we followed him in our rental car which The Ridge also organised to our accommodation. Would have no hesitation highly recommending The Ridge and would certanly love to return back there one day in the future.

From the moment Tenielle greeted us at the airport to the time we left The Ridge 7 days later we were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable & the view was just as I had pictured it. The accomodation is within in easy drive to everything on the Island

Great Stay in a lovely location. I can't recommend the Ridge highly enough and everything was very clean and the provision of an island phone and guidance on arrival at to the airport was very helpful. Phil and Teneille have obviously put a lot of time and thought into ensuring everything is convenient for guests and that they have a relaxing time.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with incredible views. The bed was so comfortable we had to ask where it was from. Teneille and Phill have done such an amazing job on the property. 3rd trip to the island and is THE BEST accommodation we could have wished for. Thank you for the perfect stay!

We stayed in No.7 studio apar**ent. Beautifully styled and an amazing mountain view! The apar**ent had everything you need if you choose to eat in - small cooktop, microwave, fridge (1ltre milk supplied) utensils salt/pepper, tea/coffee etc although we ate out. Beautiful soaps, shampoo/conditioner and the bed with full soft linen was so comfortable! BBQ on site and full laundry for use at no extra cost, plus a phone to take with you for local calls! Phil and Teneille were fantastic hosts, very friendly and down to earth, even arranged our car hire for us. 5 to 10 min from everything. We had an amazing stay at The Ridge and would definitely recommend this boutique accommodation.

The Ridge is a fantastic place to stay, being a peaceful, quiet location, with stunning countryside and water views, all within 5 minutes drive of the main Norfolk Island commercial centre. The crystal clear view of the stars was amazing!! Phil and Teneille were great hosts, friendly, layback and accommodating. We thoroughly recommend The Ridge if you're looking for a taste of the real Norfolk Island local culture.
